The 30% covers storage, distribution, discovery, and probably more. If you had to implement that yourself you'd wind up with a shittier version for probably more money.

Nvidia has been so far ahead of AMD cards for so long, and running AI stuff on them is a much better experience as well.

I love AMD and wished it weren't so, but buying an AMD video card can only be justified by price or Linux compatibility.

I have a Tesla because my VW engine died just out of warranty and a junkyard engine was $5k, a new one was $11k, just for the engine, no labor or extraneous parts.

The world where you can afford an engine replacement but not an electric car is pretty small.

I think part of it is they only see intense amounts of work pulled out of thin air under pressure, they don't see the internal struggle that led to leaving everything to the last minute

I eat soylent cacao every day for breakfast and lunch, then have a dinner that isn't soylent. Been doing this since early 2020, including at one point, while bulking, eating an entire bag of it (2000 calories) every day, which was kind of a lot.

Yeah, I have a pixel 8 pro, pixel watch 2, pixel buds pro, nest doorbell, 7 Google Home/Nest Hubs, YouTube Premium subscriber for however long YouTube Red has been around and use Google for most online services, and still think they have the best search, and I use Bard.

That being said, their search experience has been worse lately because of SEO, and I am slightly worried about the outsized control they have over the Internet, but better them than Microsoft (duckduckgo/bing) or Apple (literally nothing I care about, except Mythic Quest). They could always do more, and they should be held to a high standard. And fox their fucking messaging, they really, really shat the bed there.

Yeah the gear upgrade system was even more convoluted before they reduced some confusion. I just wish we could do things without just filling our bags.
