  • You dont need any commercial VPN provider unless you're a persecuted minority or under a strict government regime, get off them.

You can't verify that any of them actually comply with their no log policies and all they're doing is aggregating people who have stuff to hide onto it.

    And especially not fucking Windscribe.

And VPNs are always slow, hence not using them unless they're required.

  • It almost certainly won't, but it's nice to hope.

It might remove the face to face human bias of a GP but it doesn't make up for the decades of preconceived or absent research about women or minorities.

  • Theres plenty of good reason to keep your alias provider separate from your email provider.

The first being you can lift and shift to another email provider very easily.

Secondly if something happens to your account you don't lose the lot.

Thirdly, just get a domain with alias provider and it matters not what email provider you use ever.

  • There's literally passports that are more valuable because they open you up to more of Europe. And some passports that limit you to only a few countries.

So yeah, better travelling is literally region locked demos and moving somewhere better is pretty expensive DLC.

  • A hundred percent.

And enabling NSFW isn't enough, many people would rather choose what type of NSFW to see.

An yeah, the difference between simulated rpe and rpe doesn't come across in videos I suspect.

  • I've got a few theories:

My guess is that certain companies are concerned about repercussions related to porn related content due to an impending buyout or IPO. Personally I don't blame them.

Advertisers hate it, payment providers hate it.

Fediverse has recently been attacked by CP spammers, and instances like the one I'm on has actually shut off image sharing all together.

Moderation is a problem globally, even if this content slips through automated filtering there will always be exposure, and always people affected. And unfortunately the tolerance for CP or even copyrighted content is precisely zero due to public backlash and the news articles.

  • OP is a fucking idiot.

Apartments are needed to house an increasing population. You're not required to live in one, just don't expect to own acreage in the city where land is at a premium.

A reduction on meat is scientifically better for your health and the environment. At the very least one day a week meat free.

Accessible cities is great for everyone including people who require cars. You shouldn't be opposing this. But "lefties" are calling for better urban planning that don't assume everyone has a car. Simply put, if you have to drive to get to the supermarket, or that drive is 10km though you're 5km away from the store - that's the fuck up.

People want a choice whether to have crotch goblins (kids) and you shouldn't be expected to have one if you don't want one. But nobody is stopping you from having one. It's not hard.

Experimenting with food has been done since the dawn of man. Meat free and bugs is yet another experiment in an attempt to answer the question "how can we feed everyone". Becoming increasingly difficult due to man made climate change and population.

You don't have to have a small car, just have one that's safe on the road. Not those big grotesque trucks. You're not towing bro, and you can't even see over the grill. Once again, people don't want to be required to have a car to live. Walkable cities, good public transport.

  • Yeah about $0.4 AUD (0.24 EUR) per KwH here.

But why ewaste $1000 worth of gaming hardware with 8 core 8 threads only to use a fking celeron with 4,4 respectively?

You realise $1000 could power this server for literally years right? Not to mention I run a lot of apps on my server to use those extra cores, saving more money for myself paying for other things like Dropbox.
