  • Good if you're wealthy enough to afford it.

Okay at best if you're below 100k a year.

We still need all encompassing universal healthcare as well as dental and mental health covered.

It's literally a struggle at the moment with our conservatives trying to plunge us into US style disaster, versus actually trying to improve something.

  • "They" is perfectly acceptable, in fact I've taken to writing work emails as such too. Because you can't always work it out through their name alone.

The real problem is not learning or correcting themselves when told.

    "This is Alice, she...".

"Oh he is a nice pers...".

    "She, mum".

Be open to correcting yourself when told, people are used to correcting people. But continually not correcting yourself makes you look like a bigot even if you don't mean it.

It's unreasonable to take responsibility for apps a user runs on their server.

But when you all of a sudden see a heap of Plex IP addresses hitting your provider with mass media sharing rings you've got problems.

Jellyfin however is just serving HTTP/S. Thats it. You can't ban Nginx or Apache.

  • Your graphics card is literally ewaste at this point. So unless you get something else you might just use integrated graphics by Intel or buy an AMD ryzen G processor with graphics on board.

Anyway, now that NVIDIA isn't a requirement anymore - use whatever you want.

I'm not going to force you to use Linux, but I'll never go back to Windows.

Fedora is good, EndeavourOS is great. I think the AUR (ARCH based) repos really adds to the ease of use.

  • They're attacking the very livelihoods of their long term clients and customers.

I don't condone violence at all, but if 0.001% of these people were motivated for violence that's a fair whack of people dishing out death threats.

But yeah Unity have just done the same scummy thing as Twitter and Reddit did and the sooner it dies out the better.
