The debate just highlighted all the concerns that have been around this campaign from the start. The real nail in the coffin for Biden is the response to his terrible performance. They are sequestered and instead he needs to be out there showing the people that the debate was a one off. The fact that they aren't getting Biden out there basically confirms that he can't do it anymore.

Anyone that thinks Trump won that debate was almost certainly a trumper to begin with.

Who is trying to lecture people? Who is telling people to feel "bad for being who they were born as"?

Shocking the same policies fucking over various minorities also make life shitty for poor white people. The republicans being created are the ones that bought into the whole as long as we have an underclass for the poor whites to look down on they'll never look up at who is actually fucking them over because they'll at least be better off than those other ultra poors.

I feel about the same about Biden as I did before. A guy driven by ego and past glory who saw an opportunity to regain the spotlight and he took it. The less cynical take is Biden actually believes he is the best candidate for the job of "saving democracy."

If I had my way we wouldn't be fielding any of these geriatric candidates, not because they lack experience or ability, but because we've already been doing their shtick for the last six decades and I'm tired of it.

Until we actually remove republicans and republican lites from the legislature I highly doubt we'll see any progressive tax reforms, like actually taxing the rich. You could probably find more support for expanding house buying programs. Stuff like lowering the down payment requirements, and or give a large grant for a portion of the house value if it is high and it could be clawed back at sale.

This is so confusing. I thought the DOJ due to the existence of a memo would not charge a sitting president with a crime, period. So why are these republicans wasting tax payer bucks on these investigations?

As far as releasing the tape, just do what they did with the Mueller report and lock it in a tiny room with severely restricted access. The republicans can have a cassette tape of the interview and a record player to listen, but they only get 3 minutes, and no phones or any other recording devices.

You aren't accounting for the increase in cool stuff that makes people want to stick around longer. There's at least one more Dune movie coming and even a Rebel Moon for the Snyder people. When dueling was popular people were going to church for fun... If you believe in an afterlife and most of your time is spent peasanting about, why not have some fun in a duel?
