They still need consumers though right? I mean they can't automate that away can they? Cause I consume a lot of stuff and it takes a fair amount of effort, also it is like the only thing I am really good at.

There was a brief record scratch moment when the abortion ban stuff happened, but the trumpers I know got right back on the bandwagon and are now talking "white replacement theory."

I'm not against liberals picking up a few guns and gun related skills, but the wars of the present and near future will be fought with drones.

Not really. The stock market doing great is the result of low interest rates, massive tax cuts for the wealthy and corporation, and the recent covid money printing. All of that money, that the wealthy hoard, needed somewhere to go and it went into assets like stocks and housing.

The solution is to tax the corporations and wealthy. Take that money and put it back into society. For example, by fixing our infrastructure, funding our schools, and medicare for everyone. The beauty of being early in this hyperinflation cycle is that we can make actual policy decisions to reverse course before it is too late.

I think a fair few of these people don't see the very fine line that Biden is stuck walking. He really doesn't want to see that lobby money head to Trump's campaign. And the people pissed at Biden not doing more for the people in Gaza seem to ignore that the alternative is Trump, who will likely just not care.

This sucks for the kids that were already going to fight in the water wars of the 2030s and WWIII, because why not add a new christian crusade to the list.

I'm okay with a more spherical Earth. Although, I could see this upsetting some flat earthers.

I disagree. Those clowns are a major part of the reason we are in this mess in the first place. They had plenty of time and opportunities to stop this nonsense and they decided to be spineless wimps. What we needed at minimum were the congress members that got on the phone with Nixon and told his ass to resign. At the very least they had respect for their positions and some respect for the rule of law.

The current batch are trash, the party owns them. And their constituents and oath of office fall somewhere 6 feet below Cancun.

Politics explained simply is about who gets what and when they get it.

I am pretty sure the New York fraud case that is sending Trump spiraling is the direct result of testimony that his fixer Cohen gave to Congress. You can probably find the relevant testimony on the youtubes. If memory serves AOC was doing some of the important questioning.

I don't disagree and on a fundamental level this is a disaster. The fact that this election is close and represents a choice between a right wing authoritarian and Joe Biden is absolutely ridiculous. I'm just hoping the undecided voters make the right decision this November.

Polling this far out is going to be bad. As election day gets closer more and more of this information will trickle down to the low information voters.

I feel like that video just makes the LAPD's case worse. Guy had a plastic fork... They had a very long huddle discussing tactics all of which resulted in a complete failure. Like this is epic levels of fucking retarded. Re assign all these officers to simple traffic duty and take their firearms.
