Corporations tried out binding arbitration and the people just took it with very little complaining. So why not keep eroding consumer protections or the other rights citizens fought for in the before times?

Sometimes I think we are pushing the limits of some people's ability to live in a large modern society.

Buddy, did any of those individuals in power that you are defending vote to remove Trump when he was impeached for running an insurrection? They didn't and that is the cover they are providing as their brownshirts terrorize the people.

I doubt folks are marching anywhere and shooting at each other it'll be more likely drones doing the work. You can fly a drone from your home or your car or your yard. They even have drones with AKs attached to them. Maybe the civil war after the next one will be fought with people in formation again, but the civil war these guys are proposing will be much more digital.

What the republican machine is setting up for this go around is at the local level. They are putting funding into "election monitoring" and there is also the risk that certain states or localities refuse to certify a Kamala win.

Nah this is just typical American behavior. After exhausting all the wrong options we are finally seeing Biden do the right thing.

Because Reagan opened the flood gates on raising the cost of higher education. Then the boomer generation, well known for pulling the ladder up behind themselves, saw this and ran with it. Also they aren't the ones going to school anymore. Combine that with the general hatred for education and science republicans have and we have super expensive schools.
