Don't let Lemmy mislead you into thinking Linux is a drop-in replacement or easy to switch to. It's a difficult process that takes learning, but hopefully you'll find it worthwhile. Good luck with your troubleshooting.

I guess you better search for them.

This has really made me lose faith in a defederated system like this.

@Anyone: please let me know if I'm wrong about these and if there's a solution, but as far as I can see:

• I can't export my account (most importantly all the posts and comments I've saved).
• It's difficult to find where a server is based.
• Some instances seem to be solo hobby projects. I don't want to pick another instance that is at risk of being killed.

Talk radio station. Starts at low volume and builds up slowly. Calm voices are the most relaxed sound to wake up to. Tried all sorts of other sounds and they're all too abrasive to wake up to.

This feels like homework.

When I look back at pictures of my kids when they were newborn, they look like little rats. Still were genuinely cute at the time. They just don't photograph well.

I don't know about iPods specifically, but Bluetooth transmitters (that connect to 3.5mm audio jack) are cheap.

Or if you're willing, you could surgically mod your iPod.

That's not the point they're making at all.

The point is when a website password breeds needs to be changed, then it won't conform to the system anymore. Now you need to make a new system, or remember this particular exception.

I had a system with a number in it. Any time a password change was needed then I would add 1 to the number. I might have to try two or the times to get the password right if I've changed it for the third time.

Everyone can draw that. The money is in drawing really well.
