I live in the UK, I've only ever driven manuals. I know one or two people with automatics, wouldn't fancy having one myself though. I feel like the manual shift gives me more control.
Prior to musk buying it, although twitter usually made a loss it had had a couple of years when it made a profit. He didn't buy a business that was already destined to fail, he bought one with potential and made it fail.
Yeah, not a lot of mental flexibility here. They're probably the same people who thought musk was going to save the world a few years ago and now feel angry and betrayed that he turned out to be just another greedy dumb shit.
True, that. Building mutually supportive communities is really beneficial if shit goes bad. It's something most of us can do on a local level and it's something most humans are pretty good at.
I bought the old homeworld games. I remember really enjoying them way back when, and the third game finally comes out in 24 so I thought I'd give them a play through to catch up. Still good.
This seems like a plausible explanation, but I'd maybe expect to see a few giant slugs and caterpillars - these are at least as damaging to crops as snails.
I just need a note platform that I can feel sure will still be accessible in a few years time. I don't mind paying for a service that's valuable to me but evernote's prices were a bit much and their constant pestering became annoying. I switched to Google keep - which, given that I wanted something that will last, may have been a mistake.
Yeah, and TBF being homeless is shit. When I was, I self medicated with smack and booze just to turn down the volume on the screaming insecurity and worry I felt pretty much constantly. Some homeless people are also mentally unwell and need additional support but a lot will take whatever help is available and use it to improve their lives.
Yeah, same here. I'm not nearly as active here as I was on reddit, but there's not as much going on here and activity feeds itself. It's fine, I read more books.
A couple of junkies who are nodding out in public still have the same rights to freedom and self determination as anyone else. You're just advocating for more of the same war on drugs, brutalising marginalised people. After so many years it should be obvious that shit does not work.
Fentanyl is dangerous because it's so strong that the difference between a survivable dose and one that's fatal is very small. But the drug itself when properly administered isn't harmful and has therapeutic use.
However people with opiate addictions will use pretty much anything to prevent them getting sick, including stuff that can have horrible health consequences. Krokodil comes to mind, or temazepam jellies, but I'm sure there are other examples. Thank fuck I'm clean now.
Probably ended up in someone's ramen.
