  • Vegans are all about telling you what you can't do.

Pirates are all about telling you what you can do.

People like having stuff for free. People don't like being told what is or isn't wrong and what they should or shouldn't do.

  • State literally calls itself communist. (Operates more like a fascist state than a communist one)

Conducts ever more of its industry through the state and strictly controls the banks and loans.

Exercises huge subsidies across the entire economy which is visible through their massive and growing imbalance between their internal consumption and export.

"You only say it's not capitalist because they aren't white"

No I say they aren't capitalist because they aren't capitalist.

  • Yes, and the EU largely responds in the sectors of US subsidy. Food imports are restricted. Airbus and Boeing are constant sources of trade spats, etc.

Chinese subsidy makes American subsidy look like childs play. Their response to China should match that discrepancy.

  • Scientist concludes highly philosophical discussion years and years after it's already been discussed in depth and studied at length.

But they're a scientist! That means it's news.

    And Jesus Christ.

This means accepting that a man who shoots into a crowd has no more control over his fate than the victims who happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. It means treating drunk drivers who barrel into pedestrians just like drivers who suffer a sudden heart attack and veer out of their lane.

Is this written by someone in high school?

  • low prices

They're fighting Chinese market manipulation that is specifically designed to make the world dependent on them and lowers wages across the world by creating massive market imbalances. Every nation with two brain cells should ban the import of all Chinese vehicles and eventually all Chinese industry entirely.

  • This stuff is really cool and I really hope it becomes a normal for people to be wearing headsets out and about.

So many amazing things we could do with genuine AR devices on our heads all day.

  • A “lie” by definition is intentionally giving a falsehood knowing it’s a falsehood.

    Yeah, well you said this:

are you aware that most AI “art” is actually just cobbled together assets from human artists

Which isn't a question at all, just a statement of fact disguised as an opinion, and a false one at that. Your only "question" is if the OP knew, which is a shitty and manipulative shaming tactic at best

So don't give my any crap about how you're just asking questions or you "aren't lying about anything because I could change my mind"

  • Technical people down below were like “yeah cool, but there’s no place for it

I think you might underestimate entertainment and creation. Right now I can imagine some character or scenario in my head and generate a little avatar with stable situation then render it onto a live chat that (mostly) works.

I've paid like 2k for a computer that enables this. It's make money from me at least.

  • You're reading a whole lot of shit I didn't say here.

I do not support Hamas or Isreal

    Never said you did.

You are being blatantly hypocritical if you support the human rights violations and mass murder of Palestinians by Isreal, while simultaneously condemning the terrorist attack by Hamas

My only real opinion there is that Israel is an American ally and doesn't side with the people running around chanting death to America, so I'm roughly on their side in that respect.

The emotional aspects don't matter and I don't particularly care about deaths on either side when they're all an ocean away. It's just two countries at war. They're both full of religious nutters, although Israel also probably wouldn't kill me for being an atheist so they're less bad in that respect as well.

And I said this lady was stupid for trying to help and aid a group of people who is really just hilariously evil. You're wasting your time and putting yourself in danger. I didn't justify any killings.

  • The Palestinian people are just like us

Yeah, and people are stupid, easily manipulated, and forged by their environment and religion. We aren't special, we're just rich and live in nations whose cultures are organized in part to stomp out hate.

I'm sure there are good people in Palestine who are truly opposed to the idea of purging the Jews. I'm also sure they're a minority.

But if you want to be all empathetic and go help the Palestinian people....

You'll be kidnapped and possibly killed because you don't align with their fantasy sky God.

  • Doesn't really matter. The people largely and enthusiasticly support Hamas. Have we not learned this lesson from Russia and China and every other authoritarian state? They will have to be literally reprogrammed similar to the denazification of Germany.

  • this is talking about reducing an individual’s carbon footprint… a drop in the bucket compared to big industry

Big industry exists to serve individuals consumption. Both of these things are one in the same, because everything that gets produced has to be consumed otherwise it gets put into a warehouse and the companies that are producing things go out of business.

With one person no longer driving to work every day big industry stops building oil and gas and whatever the heck else for them and starts instead building whatever they choose to spend their money on when they're stuck at home all day.

Probably internet games and food delivery. As long as those are less carbon intensive than the person driving to work every day, you get total net savings and it could be very significant.
