Sure, anything could happen. I think Taylor Swift has enough money and reach to make herself heard if she really wants, in a way that leaves no doubt. Yes, people will pick and choose, but if they're choosing to believe Taylor Swift supports Trump, they aren't dealing with reality anyway. Those people were going to vote for Trump no matter what because they look for every little sign of support for Trump, no matter how ludicrous it is.

Sure, but lawsuits are not her only recourse. She could actively endorse Kamala, for instance, and that would be terrible for Trump.

It is tradition in my family that we watch Halloween/scary movies on one long weekend in October each year. We eat yummy food and candy. We sleep on an air mattress in the living room. I guess we may stop if my kids protest when they get older, but not all traditions are bad or harken back to the dead, or even our parents. My wife and I started this when it was just the two of us, and we've continued with our kids. Everyone loves it.

Yes, Daniel Shaver. It was horrible to watch. I hadn't heard about the medical retirement or pension. I generally don't advocate for violence, but if he came to a violent end, I would not shed any tears.

I'm with you. I watched the video of the man who was trying to comply with orders from the police and the officer warned him if he did anything other than what he was being ordered, he would be shot. Then, he was given confusing orders, and was shot when he did the wrong thing. He was on his knees with his hands in plain view when the threat came. There were multiple officers with weapons drawn. The man was sobbing and begging before he was shot. I can't unsee it. I think it's important that people see it so others can be held accountable, but not EVERYONE has to see it.

A culture shift where people are ashamed to publicly support such a terrible person is a step in the right direction, though. I'll take it.

It makes no sense that they supported him in the first place. His only redeeming quality (in their eyes) is that he says what he thinks because he has no shame.

Which I could sort of understand, but then he whines for years about it if he doesn't get his way. Even my young children get over things faster than he does.
