Shipbreaker and Valhiem, both I've played before on PC but loving playing from bed lol. I'm also downloading Witcher 3 right now as I was never able to get into it on PC and figured I'd try giving it a go here. Considering trying no man's sky as well as seeing it pop up a lot, another one I bought years ago and couldn't get into on PC.
I hear you, I'm Gen X so grew up on cable tv. But I was also a punk rocker as a kid. As I age I find myself increasingly realigning with the values of my youth lol
I think our definition is probably the same, I'm just very anti-ad, the idea of being continually manipulated to consume rubs my fur backwards. I'm fine paying for ad free though.
The cognitive dissonance with advertisers is crazy. They don't see it as perpetuating late stage capitalism and wasteful consumerism. They turn a blind eye to the fact that the reason people are so anxious and depressed is because of the constant badgering that you should want more and more objects in your life instead of just leaving us all the fuck alone.
I went in there just yesterday for the first time in a year to look at laptops before deciding which to get based on actual weight and size. For whatever reason my brain does not work converting weight or size from text. I just can't picture it or conceptualize it.
Yeah, I know how swap works. I'm lazy and it would accomplish the task if needed, I've done it many times before in similar situations especially on low RAM Gentoo machines.
Agreed, it's slow as fuck. It also gets the job done without going outside the package manager.
Neither existed in Europe back then. I'm not sure if there is another reference to that exact date I'm missing
