Because being 'tough on the green crap' has emerged as a slim lifeline for the conservatives to avoid utter annihilation at the next election.

not a Stealth & Dress-up Simulator.

There was an entire quest line dedicated to stealth (Ryujin). There was a skill tree dedicated to stealth. So, why were they in the game?

I got given a great tip from someone re the stealth, that I WISH the damn game had explained.

You know how you can set your armour to 'hide when in settlement' or something similar... easy to forget that setting, turns out we're tramping around with our armour on, which makes us easy to spot and hear. So to get proper stealth you have to take your armour off (and therefore be quite vulnerable). Makes sense, once explained!

Exactly. The EU would be mad to allow us to return with all the same, very-favourable terms we had before!

Would you mind furnishing that statement with some links, articles, or some info to back it up? Iirc he's ex-Goldman Sachs but he seems to be making moves that hedge funds / market makers do NOT like. Vs the previous guy who just let them do whatever they wanted.

If you want to see the actual baddies, look at the 'self regulating' agency which has gone to great lengths to hide swap data, and the company which enforced 'position close only' on a large number of stocks (kicking off the infamous GME saga). Hint: it wasn't Robinhood. Robinhood was just one of many brokers who were instructed to set multiple stocks (not just GME) to 'position close only' aka no buying, only selling.

Bingo. The super-rich love a financial collapse, it gives them a golden opportunity to turn disaster capitalist. All those foreclosed homes & businesses available at a knockdown price, nom nom nom.

To add... if you install the DuckDuckGo browser app on your android phone, it will block all the trackers in your other apps!

Fair warning though, you will likely feel a bit of shock & horror to find out just how often you're being tracked, and what sort of data these apps are sucking down relentlessly and constantly. Even the ones you haven't used for a while.

Yeah the lore is buried fairly deep. Raises some serious questions though! It's a shame so many will be put off by the bad launch. I know the game won't be for everyone but I've sunk so many hours. It's almost meditative at times.

Yeah they really flopped with that aspect. I saw someone refer to it as 'loading screen simulator' and couldn't disagree. I don't understand how other devs can make things seamless, but Bethesda couldn't manage it.

The best (worst?) example of that for me was my companion sobbing and sniffling during a ceremony, expressing their love and commitment, all with a flat emotionless face. It's funny you said mannequin because everytime I started a conversation, for some reason my brain would say "Here comes another puppet show".

Gunplay is definitely decent, though there seemed to be no line between being overpowered and bullet sponge. Also would've liked to have seen more imaginative / futuristic weaponry considering the time period. I'm sure modders will create something more fun with the framework.

Another thing that really grated on me was the 'digital clutter'. A generation ship from hundreds of years ago should not have the same ornaments and books as a ship from the current time period!
