You're not wrong. The mass proliferation of listacles with the same 5 advertised products stamped behind a novella of filler to appease SEO algorithms has been increasingly problematic for at least 10 years now. The issue has only been compounded with the flood of "AI" generated content and deceptive ads. I almost prefer when every website had sidebars full of blatant advertisements. Sure they were ever present, but they weren't trying to literally trick you into buying something.

It's also a fantastic way to steal the superior ideas that your players have misremembered and to reinforce the ones that resonated with them.

Be careful with this assumption. There are a lot of young conservatives out there that have been brainwashed into being just as fervent. I had a 23 year old guy working for me that I was making progress with, but it took a lot of patience on my part. You have to slowly walk them through the cognitive dissonance that they have been force fed their entire life.

I had to go back to my feed and check but I actually get very little in the way of meme posts. That may be the way I have my feed filtered though. I would welcome quality memes, but I also may be starting to age out of what is being created at this point
