I mean from the kid's perspective you're not wrong but from ours, we know that the US doesn't do that. Yes it drafted it citizens quite aggressively but not non-citizens or at least not on the sheer level that Russia is/has been doing.
it's a bad idea to have all your passwords centralized but for me it's still an upgrade in security compared to remembering a few different passwords. I understand security is very important but I want to be able to appreciate convenience and not have to write all my random passwords on a book that I would have to bring with me all the time and look at every time I want to type a password. there's no such thing as bulletproof security. I'm quite happy to have reduced my attack vectors to nearly one single point so I can focus on defending that one single point.
wow nearly the same as you I went from a in-line 6 diesel series 5 bmw manual from 1997 (it felt like driving a mix of a bus and tank) to a Corolla hybrid hatchback automatic. I miss shifting gears sometimes but it's such a relaxing experience especially when in a hybrid. I actually generally prefer driving now and I believe that those two vehicles are actually comparable in the sense that they are both not built for speed but rather comfort/fuel economy and the Toyota beats it in both aspects. (although the seats in the bmw were like sitting in a sofa).
I also believe your first comment is correct and the US prison system is quite messed up to say the least. However I'm being very pragmatic here and I'm not going to shed a tear if he personally only has bread and water to eat. if anything it will do him some good. the problem is that this is applied to every person in jail or most jails.
I agree, only because it's about veganism that there is a supportive reaction. If they were not respecting his Christian/Muslim beliefs for example no one here would bat an eye, especially here.
