I can't believe this shit... I was planning on getting the Zenfone 10. with it's headphone jack, small size, and Android feel.

what's beyond me is that 95% of people won't care. We will of course but most will just put up with it.

I agree that reddit won but it was a, pyrrhic victory the content quality has massively gone down. I still have a secondary account there but I only use it to spread the word about lemmy. Haven't used it in weeks because I don't want to attract too much attention and get suspended.

I agree that I'm not flexible with non FOSS software but at the same time I'm glad that this new app will bring more people to lemmy and the fediverse in general. I just in huge disagreement over the pricing policy out of principle. I'm glad the money is going to one person instead of a mega Corp but his app should have been priced at less than 10$ for a, lifetime and maybe 20 for ultra. More than 20$ for lifetime and 100$+ is bonkers and no regional pricing even. As good as his app is it is not anywhere near that value.

I second this 100% the app also displays nicely on a tablet compared to others. I'm shocked to see this dev ask 100$ plus for a lifetime for an app as good as it is. I understand he needs to make money but I think he took it two digits two far. I'm glad it's a single developper getting that money though instead of a corperation.

I'm sorry. I get a developper needs to eat but 100+ dollars for the lifetime is absolutely outrageous. That is more than some AAA games on release.

C'est terrible parce à mon niveau en désaccord avec toi parce que j'ose des fois avoir l'espoir que les gens se réveille un peu mais le réaliste ne peut que être en accord. Les gens en ont rien à faire et je n'ai même pas la force d'essayer de les convaincre.

IMO the principle of voting is that it's anonymous. I don't think that I should be exposed to whoever up voted or downvoted my posts.

This would create unnecessary tension.

what if you downvote someones posts and then they start bullying you? yes you can block them but this would be encouraging that to happen.

imo we need a webapp alternative and voyager is it.

J'utilise Feeder aussi. je me suis abonné au monde et à france 24 (pour les infos en général) et ça me suffit amplement (d'où le fait que je post des petits articles ici et sur world de temps en temps. je sais c'est pas optimal mais j'avais l'habitude d'utiliser reddit pour l'actu et pour voir des réactions (à peu près normales) j'éspère pouvoir trouver ça ici mais pour l'instant je vais continuer de relayer des infos ici histoire de contribuer un peu.
