I’ve read that brushing your teeth actually helps protect your teeth from food and sugars you consume throughout the day. So eating beforehand bypasses that protection (unless you ask brush at night, which I imagine would be good enohgh).

I liked Mayim for Celebrity Jeopardy, but I am interested in seeing Ken’s interactions with the celebrities. I think his wit will make for a great show.

The latter for sure. And to be fair, my experience wasn’t identical to what the post was asking. It wasn’t so much a house party as it was having ~10 friends over. And my dad was often home, just already asleep. I definitely wouldn’t have tried to have a legitimate house party with the cameras around.

My dad did have cameras all over the house while I was in high school. But there weren’t any in my room so we could hang out in there. There also weren’t any in the bathroom so we could stash the alcohol in there and just pour it into cups.

Both of these required a parent not that dedicated to actually stopping his kids from partying though. But a parent sufficiently dedicated was always going to be able to find out somehow.

I’ve definitely watched it recently and still enjoy it just as much. But also, your sense of humor can change over time so it probably just doesn’t fit what you like anymore.

The Princess Bride. It has great comedy, action, and romance. It’s influenced my sense of humor and it’s just so much fun.

Is there a reason everyone decided to start watching Suits?

They could make you watch an ad to take your BeReal. They’d have to sell the one spot for a lot though. And people are already too lazy to take the pic when they’re supposed to a lot so they’d probably just lose most of their members.

Well I’ll be damned. I actually tried that when I first had the issue but I think I only tried updating it through Memmy and it looks like it was setting it through the website that was causing issues. That needs some serious work, but thanks so much for the help!

I’ll say it, I like Imagine Dragons. They have some great songs, they just also have some radio rock drivel (oh god Thunder is bad). Also, I saw them live back in 2013 and it’s one of the best concerts I’ve been to.

Is your All really that clogged? I think I’ve blocked 2 or 3 Hexbear communities and now I can’t remember the last time I saw a hexbear post in All.

If it’s that harmful to your experience, I’m sure there are other instances that have already defederated. You could make an account there to start using and even switch back later once the ability to block instances has been added. The point of federation is you have the ability to curate your own experience and there’s less chance for a centralized force to curate your experience for you. Trying to get a large instance to defederate from an instance you disagree is you trying to curate the experience for thousands upon thousands of users.

Personally, I don’t think any instance should defederate from another instance unless the admins of that instance are supportive of hate speech or dangerous language. It seems from this post that the Hexbears admins not only don’t support it but are actively trying to curtail it. Defederating with them will just isolate them and make it easier for that vocal minority to gain control and keep it.

Are you saying it’s impossible for this situation to happen? I’ve definitely met people that I wouldn’t put it past them. Even if this isn’t an actual news story, if just one person has ever done this, then the discussion is legitimate. And I find it very unlikely it’s never happened.

The ones I’ve had are usually similar price to the other burgers or a very slight increase and the patty quality was definitely better. If the price difference was like between wagyu steak and normal, I’d never even consider it.

Flairs for sure. I use a couple of sports subreddits and being able to contextualize comments based on the users fandom is pretty helpful.
