Well mine didn't update at all until I manually added the servers from amazon it was blocking by default.

So I kind of assume taking them off again is a temporary solution. That said I can't guarantee they haven't changed anything since then and I might wake up to a worse fire cube sometime.

Ads are a genuine real security concern if it became a choice between YouTube and adblockers it's bye YouTube for me.

Its a battle YouTube isn't going to win, and to be honest YouTube has never and will never be a viable business their best bets just asking for donations and playing nice to anyone using it.

I have blokada on mine I had whitelisted all the amazon servers it connects with but when I read this I removed them all to stop it updating hopefully.

Will probably work until I get round to trying the xda fix.

Yahoo answers was a goldmine I kinda miss that and Yahoo chat.

Doesn't help the tv shows sucked as well.

I dunno Bluetooth kinda blew me away recently but it was when I bought a new phone. The range of my earbuds suddenly started working perfectly even when I think I was about 50 meters away.

I presume the newer Bluetooth version made this happen when before it wad like maybe a room away maybe 15 meters at best.

I won't buy hp again myself I had a power supply die during covid because they for no reason made it propriety and claimed to not have any because of covid that whole pc ended up in the dump.

Think I tried to get one for about a year before giving up on it. Any normal pc I could have had back working the same day.

I use mine more as an mp3 player and I do find the vibration alarm feature very useful as sometimes a normal alarm clock doesn't wake me. Apart from that don't really see to much benifit over a normal watch.

It is nice to have things like maps etc on your wrist bit I can't say I've ever actually used really used them.

My recommendation is librefox and if you really want a chrome based alternative I'd suggest Thorium (although I don't know what thorium will do when this is implemented I'm hoping they don't follow it.)

I dunno I know Americans are inclined into hating Huawei/Honor but I wish I had went that way again instead of buying a Nothing phone.

Probably my biggest tech regret my last Honor was amazing and this Nothing crap just randomly restarts for no damn reason. In every technical way it should be an upgrade but my old Honor was so much better.

For the record I'm British and when I buy phone I usually buy it outright on a budget. Honors a company I'd buy from Again Nothing well not so much.
