True I actually thought I was shadowbanned and it took me a long time to work out I basically was but only when I used my Vpn..

I liked the angel bears intro enough thar I let it play I usually skip past them all honestly.

I liked Sync Pro on Reddit but there's no way I can justify the huge cost jump for a lemmy version.

I hope lemmy does OK but it could be replaced anytime with something a bit better and there's still a lot less content than Reddit had.

Love this anime I've also read all the books would love to see the whole thing animated but yeah didn't know there would even be a season 3 until reading this.

Sorry I only know this from things I've read myself so it's at best third hand info, but yeah from what I understand F-Droid is pretty much under constant threat of just vanishing.

I use quite a lot of F-Droid apps myself so obviously I don't want it to and wish it had an alternative.

No, F-droid.org is already on its last legs, although I do hope it survives but from what I know one single guy now controls the entire repo and had made threats to shut it down more than once.

I hope somebody forks the entire thing and hopefully does it with an attempt of it surviving as Google has gotten wild in their restrictions and something like F-Droid is sorely needed.

Google lately has tried to restrict Android to below Ios levels. This will kill Android altogether imo and can't be allowed.

Androids only strength as an os was freedom and that under serious attack mostly by Google themselves.

I personally only Boycott companies I feel have wronged me currently that's Sony and Virgin Media.

Neither will ever get a penny from me again. Sony deleted my account with bought Vita/psp games they sent an email saying some UK law made them have to unless I logged in on time the account was already gone when they sent it. (also bullshit no other company has deleted any of my accounts especially with items I'd payed for).

Virgin made me go to an ombudsman because they refused to cancel my contract after raising prices and telling me I could leave if I didn't accept it.

They kept me on hold, transferred me around for hours at a time to Indian call centres I couldn't even understand then eventually would either hang up or outright lie about cancelling. This went on for 2 months.

So yeah those two are boycotted for life and they are lucky I'm not in a position currently to sue them.

Shouldn't it be impossible for them to even be able to hand over your notifications in the first damn place.

There's no reason I can think off that they should even have this info.

Imessage is garbage, nobody cares.

Pretty sure revanced supports twitch if you have an android phone it's a bit of a learning curve though took me quite a while to patch tiktok and involved command line on my laptop to make the right apk.

That said you might be lucky and have the revanced manager do it on your phone.

I hate Android updates mostly as Google seems to want to restrict it down to Ios levels recently.

They seem determined to make it hard to use emulators and to kill off apps like tasker.. My latest experience has also been soured by having a nothing phone were every update seems to introduce more issues and not even attempting any bug fixing or optimisation it's turned what was a pretty good phone originally into a constantly rebooting pos.

I like Kobo it pretty much let's you load anything you want manually I even did a mobi once by accident and was really surprised it worked.

Blokada overrides the dns to its own and even then I don't see how dns is at all relevant because it blocks the update server from being connected with.

Random reboots, battery life gets worse each update for no reason I can figure out using GSam Battery Monitor. The memory management is the worst of any Android phone I've owned despite 4 times more ram.

I've resorted to using an app called saver tuner to get what should be a normal battery life and that required adb permissions.

Nothing phone 1 from launch up to 1.5.6 very solid quick phone after the 2 update it went to garbage and as far as I can tell they shadow ban every single person on Reddit who brings up any issue and there's a lot of them.

Basically everything is getting constantly worse and I'm convinced they ban anyone who has issues and I don't think they've ever fixed a single issue.

So yeah I think they suck and and only care about pulling pr stunts and I'm actually kinda happy nothing chats backfired on them.

My only comment is avoid this company they introduce new issues every update and never fix a thing.

They seem more determined to pull pr stunts then actually supporting their devices and I'm pretty sure their headphones and watches are just aliexpress junk with some disguises and the prices multiplied
