I'm probably going to do something similar soon, I've made a few attempts at stopping my Fire TV cube from updating.

Somehow it still is, and Amazon are really doing their absolute best to wreck it to the point that if I don't kill background apps after a reboot it will crash within 5 minutes or so.

I think it's days are numbered sadly people keep posting it on TikTok and everytime it can't handle it. I've a feeling the maker will eventually tire of that then the endless complaints of TikTok users who are really the ones breaking it.

Now there are some alternatives but none that do it as well and its only a matter of time before they face the same.

My guess is I'll be reinstalling Kodi sometime soon. Lately I've even seen people posting about Stremio and torrentio places like the Reddits official Netflix sub, so yeah cats well out of the bag and I think it's on a timer now.

Just really hope someone with the right skills and resources can fork and host it before it's gone.

Mine used to look pretty OK but then one day it moved everything into a folder named ironically No Folder and because I kinda need the passwords pretty badly I don't want to try and risk fixing it.

I'd like an eink device with a battery like this, just mainly out of curiosity I know it would be terrible for videos etc but I imagine you could get a decent amount of browsing and an absolute year or more of just reading.

I've kinda figured out from YouTube repair videos Immediately disconnecting the battery then using pure alcohol and cleaning the components is probably the best solution.

Unfortunately by the stage I could even open my phone and remove the battery it would probably be wrecked anyway by my attempt to do so.

Yeah I'm skeptical of those claims as well, I've never owned a phone that did it a lot until this one and I'm pretty sure it's Nothing who introduced the vast majority of problems.

I wouldn't buy the phone 1 again anyway put it that way.

It was actually great until phone 2 released then they updated it to be very unstable and the cameras also got noticeably worse from updates.

On the plus side I've read the custom roms for it are pretty good, I haven't went that far yet but I know I will eventually.

All I know that really surprised me is I'd been disgusted with nothing phone 1 constantly rebooting for no reason since an update (still does it).

When I complained on a reddit sub about it I got a ton of replies saying it's normal and not as bad as the pixel phones.

I've nowhere to go with that people are defending a completely unstable buggy phone and I've owned half a dozen androids before that and never seen any of them just randomly restarting.

I'm a westerner who dated a Muslim girl for prob about 5 or so years, the entire time her family were completely racist fucks who spent the entire time trying to break us up and speaking to me like I was the scum of the earth.

So yeah, as far as I'm concerned Egyptians and Muslims can go do one, never in my life before Muslims had I ever had Ben seen racism and hatred.

Soy sauce I find strange I know people are meant to love it but I honestly can't even taste it.

I've tried using it quite a lot because I'm a huge fan of Asian food but soy sauce stumps me as I can't taste any difference. I can tell the difference if I add actual msg but not with soy sauce.

I think this will ultimately backfire on them I gave the bing app a chance on my phone and I got so tired of the try edge interruptions I unninstalled everything Microsoft.

Hps one of only two companies that will never get a penny from me again. I had an HP desktop that the power supply died on at the beginning of Covid only then did I realise it was propriety and they didn't even have it in stock.

Kept checking for about a year and couldn't get a replacement when every other computer I've ever owned I could have bought a power supply the same damn day.

For the record the other company is Sony who just decided to delete my account with a lot of paid games because I hadn't logged in for about 6 months.

Infuriating to watch I think I feel more angry at the police woman trying to restrict his rights than the Chinese crowd.

That said if a guy randomly started shouting at me in Public I'm pretty sure I'd make the situation a lot worse.

For me Snes, PSP and the original PlayStation.

Just a nostalgia thing really but they did all have great games. Only console I currently own is a Vita and I mostly just play my old PSP favourites on it.

I've noticed reddit has recently started shadowbanning my posts when I have a vpn active so I'd say at this point it's probably completely unsafe to discuss anything on.
