  • As someone that has feared touching my eye for 30 years but recently managed to overcome the fear in order to wear contact lenses. This photo is fucking horrible...

I've seen some fucking horrible images in my time but I really can't spend more than 2 seconds looking at this one.

  • I miss the formfactor of the 5 so much. Perfect size and symmetrical bezels. The rounded corners were comfortable in the palm.

Thankfully the rounded corners are returning but the phone is still too big IMO. They need to get to at least 6.1".

I have the 6a as I needed to replace the 5 due to a screen issue and it was cheaper to replace the phone than the screen.

  • ConcernedApe continuing to be legendary. I've not played Stardew for a long time but knowing this game made this game was made by one person... the coding... the story... the graphics... the music. It's just mind boggling. Absolutely amazing.

I should start a new character and experience all the stuff that's been added.

  • I'm predominantly a Windows user. However I dual boot with Mint as I am trying to get away from Windows. It's really not easy but I'm trying.

I gotta say though these types of posts make me cringe. I really don't know why some Linux users put themselves on a pedestal all the time. You make these sorts of smug posts making out that Linux is perfect. I have never installed Linux and had it just work. There is always something that requires searching the web for a fix and firing up the terminal to start changing something in /etc/.

I get it. You're proud of your technology. But vegans are proud they don't eat animal products. We don't need to keep selling it to the rest of the world.

  • Arenanet provides a Wiki for Guild Wars 1 and 2. They are both amazing and the second one even integrates into GW2. When GW1 came out it started as a community service but Arenanet took it in officially.

Honestly, without the wiki and the massive work by the community I'd be very lost in GW2.

  • Yep. It takes a long time to go around updating all your sites. I've had lots of sites where I have to contact them to change my email address as you can't do it yourself. Even instances where it just can't be done so I've asked for account deletion instead. Still, never again now.

  • Use an email alias service and you'll never need to change your email address on sites again in the future. You can change to a new mailbox provider in the future and update all your aliases to point to your new email address within a minute.
