Who seriously addresses their boss as boss? I'm also not sure why it would need a couple of days leave to discuss this too. Unless the baby isn't the boyfriends...
I should upgrade my crappy TP-Link TL-WR702N actually.
Any idea why the Slate AX router costs more than the Beryl AX, which has better specs?
Edit
I've done a bit of research and the Beryl is twice as fast over 5GHz. It's slightly smaller and lighter. It has one less Ethernet port, but the WAN is capable of 2.5Gb. The Slate has an SD card slot for file sharing. It also has a quad-core CPU, so is faster when connecting to a VPN (550Mbps over 300Mbps of the Beryl).
I actually prefer the black colour of the Slate over the light blue Beryl, but with the slower VPN speed and lack of an SD, both of which are not really a problem for me, the Beryl looks like it's the one I should go for.
If anyone in the UK is interested, you can make quite a saving in the UK from Amazon. Normal price is £119 but if you tick the £20 off and 16% off voucher you end up paying £79.96. A saving of £43.53.
Seriously. I've been using Windows for years and every time I've tried to move it's games that stopped me. Proton is literally a game changer. I'm not a hardcore Guild Wars 2 player but I play daily. The game ruins flawlessly with Proton.
I'm a long term Guild Wars 2 player and when they joined Steam the client auto logs you in using your Steam account. However there is a switch you can add so that it logs in using a non-steam account.
It was. Now it's bloated with Microsoft's services and thrown in your face if you don't use it as your default. For example Outlook defaults to opening it for links in emails even if you have a different browser as you default. Bullshit move Microsoft.
I didn't realise it at the time but the Pixel 5 is the perfect size for me at 6". I really hoped the 8 was going to be no more than 6.1" but sadly not.
I've been eyeing up the iPhone 15 Pro but the Pixel 8 might be enough to keep me on a Pixel.
I've not used the Pixel 7 fingerprint scanner but the 6 is absolutely trash. It's easily a weak feature of the phone which I have no idea why they aren't working to fix.
I've been using sleeves/pouches since the Nexus 5 as I really prefer using a naked phone. I really liked them, protection in the pocket and also a clean phone as it's cleaned every time you put it in and out of the sleeve.
I've gotten clumsy though over the years so I think for my next phone I'll have to get a proper case. I'll hate it, but it's better than a damaged phone 😢
Because they had to if they wanted to stick with the iPhone.
Really though, fuck Apple. This change wouldn't have happened without the EU forcing their hand.
I do find it strange though. For the first time since the 4S I am actually interested in the iPhone and going to USB-C is a big factor in that interest.
