I mean, if you switch this around so it's the business paying less then people here would be going irate if the business just said "well we are paying what the contract states". I get it, people hate work. But that doesn't mean you get to screw your employer.

WhatsApp certainly dominates Europe but I'd love to see a universal standard to replace SMS. The less messaging apps the better. WhatsApp is owned by Meta after all...

I was all over Edge when it was in beta. Since release though it's just become bloated with Microsoft's shit. Not to mention in Windows Microsoft has a fucking hard-on for making it the default browser. Even if you don't, Outlook defaults to using it regardless.

I've been really enjoying Lemmy but man the memes here are the worst. It's like kids learn a new word and then just can't help themselves but use that word in everything that comes out of their mouth.

Although from testing with Firefox on Android, Nintendo doesn't work for me. I can register a key but then when trying to login it tells me there are no keys stored on the device. I get the feeling the key is being stored somewhere in Firefox but the login is only looking on the device.

It works fine in Firefox in Windows though.

I've used Chrome since the beginning and moved from Firefox. I've been happy. I'd still be happy but now I'm back on Firefox because of Google's intentions. It's led me to start to move away from Google as a whole. Moved my emails and search to DuckDuckGo.

It's going to be hard to move away from other services. Maps and YouTube for example.
