  • Maybe I'm weird, but I don't get pins and needles. When my limbs fall asleep, it's never painful. But as the blood is rushing back on, it's like the most intense ticklish feeling in the world. Gosh I hate it.

If I move at all as my limb is regaining feeling, all of those muscles will seize up and my brain just keeps firing and firing and firing this tickles! until I can actually feel that limb again. Whew. Torture.

  • My friend says if I was an Animal Crossing villager, I would end my sentences with "for real".

    Asks me a question
    "Woah, for real?"

    Talking about the weather
"I saw clouds building on the horizon. For real!"

    We're both lamenting
    "For real, man..."

  • As an over 30 gay woman, I'm in a similar spot. I journaled just a bit when I was younger, but I was really struggling with life and everything.

I think it would be a good outlet for me now, but I don't want to do full pages because I think that would end up just swirling the depressing things all around. I've been looking into little guided journals with short daily topics.

  • Hard to rate, like others, but mine probably swung from a 3 to -8.

My parents made sure my siblings and I had a lot of adventures under our belt, so we were often camping or going on small trips or skiing. But we were poor, they were irresponsible alcoholics (with some drugs on the side) who had children far, far too young and didn't have any coping skills.

The verbal abuse was constant and the physical abuse only happened when my siblings weren't there, but it was traumatic, in a word.

When I was 8 or 9 years old, my dad was going berserk and threatening all kinds of stuff after breaking a bunch of furniture. So I called the cops. Let's just say my parents were mad. I was grounded for a while and given many talks about why I was in the wrong, even though I absolutely knew I wasn't.

    They've been so cuddly lately

  • I played maybe five hours of 3 and maybe it was because I was older than for the previous two, but the sunny "we're friends and everything is so positive and love and sunshine" was really really grating. It felt like it was way more excessive than the first two, but, again, could be the ages I played them at.

Otherwise it played... Okay? The Disney things were stupid. It felt pretty blah otherwise. Nothing remarkable.

    Help on Animal Well?

  • The worst was probably splintering my tailbone. Apparently I have oddly dense bones, so they don't like to full out break, but just splinter.

I was snowboarding and trying to keep up with my mom. At the very very end of the run, I snagged my back edge and got slapped so hard to the ground, I'm pretty sure I blacked out for a few seconds (wear a helmet, kids). We rode the rest of the day and I don't remember much about it all except my butt hurt so bad. I couldn't sit down normally for over a year. I sat on my knees or in a snow tube in the living room because I couldn't stand to sit on the couch or in a chair at all.

A separate incident that might also tie for worst, but I think I fractured my skull when I was around 8? It could just be one of the growth plates, but I have a scar in my skin, and then a serious dent in my forehead in the skull which is attached to a long crack that goes down to my eyebrow before I'm not able to feel it anymore. We didn't go to the hospital or anything, I just dealt with the swelling and the small split. I did dent the corner beam in our house though. Thick skull I guess?

How to find custom Lego builds with instructions?

  • I had something similar where I had been bouldering all day and fell, so I was sitting outside, filthy and sweaty, while my friend ran inside for first aid stuff. Two gentlemen walked up to me and tried to hand me a $20 and some fast food. Very kind of them, but I turned them down.
