  • The feels on this are real, I dealt with this similar issue years back. Lots of love and advice for you already, but 1 thing is missing you need to hear:

This is not your fault. There are very few signs that would be seen by us that would indicate anything is wrong. Cats (and other pets) have instincts to hide the pain from predators until they are healed. No matter how much you love them, pain is weakness that is exploited in the animal world, even by trusted animals.

I hope he heals up, and I’ll be giving my cat a little extra love today.

  • It’s possible we haven’t done this because we have a set of morals. Or, more likely the fact that someone, many someones in fact would need to give up something up in order for the rest to course correct into the world we think we want. Are you willing to give up your life so that others will live a better one? Are you willing to take the life of another in order for this happen? Are you really? Even if you live, there will always be a stigma on you for what you have done.

This is the problem with our political division and radicalization. The other side is willing to die for what they think needs to be done. And worst, they will do this because they have been brainwashed into thinking their sacrifice is in the name of their god and will be rewarded in the afterlife. And if they win, they will be heroes. So for right now, people of power are being elected who also hold a belief that their god is the right god and what they think he says, goes.

The reality of it is, we hope the democratic process will save us. That those that fight against the obvious choice for humanity in the name of god, die a natural death. All because we’re high on morals and the value of human life, and also just too afraid to die for a cause even we don’t think is worth it.

There you have it, the true cost of late term abortion. One side will defend the ways that will forever destroy humans as we want it and the other won’t step up to correct it because we are too selfish and likely too afraid to die.

  • I’d take a bet you were a fast shower person. In and out in 5 min. I know I was just like that as a teen in a house of 7 people. Body odor problem was notable enough that I carried deodorant on me. I, like you, learned this simple trick later in life but shared it with my kids to help them through teenage years.

you're supposed to let it sit on the skin for a while before scrubbing and rinsing

Part of this is due to the heat opening your pores on your body and the soap doing its job by cleaning out the bacteria and oils that cause the smells. Scrubbing also plays a big role too, lather and rinse using a scrubber!

Doing this has allowed for me to skip shower days and I just need to scrub my head/face to remove oils before bed. I still wear deodorant, but it’s lightly scented because otherwise I have a naturally strong orange(fruit) smell that can get overpowering (to me).

I know we’ve got some cold shower bros out there and don’t worry, this still works in cold showers, just over longer stretches of time. I know this because Mother Nature doesn’t often preheat her rivers while I’m camping, but I still stay fresher than my peers.

  • Colorado has an impressive tracking system for ballots. If you’re signed up, emails and texts will let you know when your ballot is received, recorded and even denied if there is doubt on things like signature. So a determined individual voter has the tools to know what is going on with minimal effort. You would know if your ballot didn’t make it.

Personally I took mine to the drop boxes, conveniently located around our neighborhoods.

  • the legal ramifications for Trump is so great, that it’ll spill over to people who shouldn’t be in trouble but sadly had the letter ‘T’ in their name. So sorry Tommy and Tina, you’re going to jail cause our Orange Idiot is too rich.

Oh, you too Anthony and Bridgette, don’t think we didn’t see those T’s hiding!
