Ho hum, like I haven't heard that before. I am simultaneously Big GMO, Big Pharma, Big Green Energy, Big Nuclear, and who knows what else based on what I've been called because I defend the science on any and all topics.

I seem to remember Facebook actively taking down videos critical of Trump back in 2016 and 2020. Hmm...

I don't care about the companies involved, but I do care about misinformation and pseudoscience being spread about known biochemistry and toxicology for a personal motive. Glyphosate is used in a wide variety of scientific fields that have nothing to do with agriculture and these lawsuits don't even attempt to prove the claims of cancer.

They are entirely emotion-based jury decisions with the plaintiffs' lawyers going that route, rather than trying to provide scientific evidence for the claimed harm.

And somehow none of us are surprised in the slightest.

Is this some sort of side conspiracy along with the "Covid vaccines are killing millions" claims?

The annoying part about all of this legislation is that no scientific evidence is ever presented. If it does cause cancer, I would love for it to be definitively shown. But that's not even attempted in these lawsuits.

The big original suit with the university gardener who (somehow) poured glyphosate all over himself and developed Hodgkin's lymphoma developed the lymphoma...within six months after the incident in question, with other symptoms indicating sooner than that even. And since the development of such a cancer and onset of symptoms takes around a year...which was before he ever started working at the university...their own timeline debunked the claim.

But the jury seemingly ignored that little tidbit of scientific importance.

Especially since these specific soldiers are in the Psyops group that made this Telegram two days after October 7th, along with many other social media pages that were fully allowed and supported by the government.

Unfortunately, a fair number of people in medicine-adjacent fields that have less requirements on having knowledge on biology and vaccines, such as nurses and pharmacists, are anti-vaxxers.

The latter. This has been actively studied extensively over the past three years. There are minor potential risks from the vaccine (and from any vaccine, since the point is to cause an immune response), but I'd rather take my chances with side effects of my immune system reacting to a pretend infection than having to deal with the real one.

Our medical technology is too good at this point, we can keep the majority of the disease spreaders alive to continue spreading disease on purpose. A sad consequence of technological advancement.

Did you miss how the Israeli government has been actively trying to censor Haaretz since they started doing proper journalism on what's going on in Gaza? There was even a political attempt to get them shut down.

Shouldn't we instead be investigating the politicians currently in office that we have a really good reason to believe have a monetary tie to Russia and have a mountain of evidence of being coerced or controlled by them due to said politicians' past actions (going to a secret meeting to Moscow on July 4th, ect)?
