If she was calling for both pro-Palestine and pro-Israel protest groups to be investigated for potential monetary ties to Russia, then I'd consider her claim to be more valid.

I do find it funny that every time I hear a complaint in our localized fediverse, it's always something that Kbin has otherwise solved or made better.

I mean, the most straightforward way that would have the best outcome is if all domestic abuse claims are treated as credible and investigated equally. The current issue with how domestic abuse victims that are men are treated, which itself is rather tied into the long-term stereotypically viewpoint on men that the bad parts of the MRA groups have perpetuated, is the idea that men can't be abused, raped, or anything like that.

Changing that perception socially is the key to better treatment and outcomes being available, for organizations like what Silverman made to be taken seriously.

Why do y'all always use this argument? Are you seriously arguing that no one should ever criticize Biden for anything he does just because Republicans are worse?

One of the top comments is all about calling feminists "shitbags", as just one example.

Pelosi and Biden are really making me regret defending them against right wing BS conspiracy claims and tankie conspiracy claims for the past decade.

See, you're proving my point. This thread should be about men's rights issues and focusing on improving treatment and options, like the facility that Silverman setup. But y'all instead are trying to make the subject matter about how all women are bad.

Hmm, now I have concerns after watching this thread unfold. OP created their account 2 days ago and this thread is the only thing they've posted. They haven't even made any comments here or elsewhere.

ABC journalists have threatened to walk off the job as the wrongful dismissal case launched against the broadcaster by radio host Antoinette Lattouf escalates.

Also on Wednesday, a federal Cabinet minister was drawn into the dispute.

About 80 employees at the ABC’s Ultimo headquarters in Sydney cited concerns of “outside interference” and issues in its handling of complaints against staff as the dispute escalated beyond Lattouf on Wednesday.

“MEAA media members at the ABC today called on managing director David Anderson to urgently meet with staff and address growing concerns about outside interference, culturally unsafe management practices and to stand up for journalism without fear or favour,” the media union posted on Twitter on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, secret texts from a private WhatsApp messaging group emerged, showing discussion between Lawyers for Israel members, including a call to action to pressure Anderson and ABC chair Ita Buttrose to sack Lattouf.

“It’s important ABC hears from not just individuals in the community but specifically lawyers so they feel there is an actual legal threat,” one message reads.

“I have basically written to them and told them I expect a proper response, not a generic one, by COB today or I would look to engage senior counsel.

“I know there is probably no actionable offence against the ABC but I didn’t say I would be taking one – just investigating one. I have said that they should be terminating her employment immediately.”

Another read: “Why is the ABC allowing this woman to host a radio show?” and a member responded: “Exactly, which is why we need to stamp it out.”
