  • It's the only explanation for why you came in acting like a piece of rank shit in a polite conversation, then believed telling someone to work in a Chinese paper mill would be an insult. Now that I know it's because you are a hateful bigot, I just feel sad for you.

  • I'm surprised you can even spell moron. I bet the reason you think it's so bad is because you're a piece of shit racist. Get over yourself.

Looks much nicer than my workplace. I also work with Chinese manufacturers and know how many holidays they get off too, so unlike you, I'm not actually ignorant to your average Chinese persons working environment and make believe its some hellscape. Our middle class is collapsing while theirs has grown substantially. Their government does some crazy shit but we're no exception.

  • You obviously are a fucking idiot because a bonus isn't your salary shithead. Also this is the most trivial nonsense I've ever heard of to bonus 100%. I live in America where I've never once gotten 100% of my goddammit bonus fuckface. Being told that you get all of it for wearing a pedometer is literal childs play to me. Get the fuck out of here with this bullshit baby agression and jerk off or something instead.

I fucking wish I worked in a Chinese paper factory and got bonuses! Like seriously, get a goddammit clue. If that sounds like hard work to you, then you've literally never seen one, and you must have baby soft keyboard hands.

  • You don't have to run. My lazy ass clears 6k steps each day just living life. That's counts as walking, which is worth 1/3rd steps but still makes it a mile a day. I would be getting 100% bonus with literally no life change. Sign me up! Meanwhile, I never bonused working retail because people stealing carts crushed my EBITA every quarter.

  • The boss believes their employees' fitness is a direct correlation to the success of the company, which makes it related to their job performance.

I agree this is a strange belief to be held by an employer. The business gets to define the relevance, especially if they are gonna base so much of your compensation off of it.

  • Is it overstepping? If the bonus criteria aren't laid out in the compensation package at the time of hiring, it's petty much whatever they want, provided they can find a suitable way to accommodate employees that would be at a disadvantage due to protected class.

I wonder how they are ensuring the collected data is accurate.

Edit: If it's just a fitness app, then I'm crushing it on the daily just existing, and I am not a fit man. Hell, I'd be getting a 130% bonus.

  • True~ish. Farmers get subsidies in general, not just ranchers. But this is also Hamburger we are talking about. If the meatless patties were to replace the steak in a steak sandwich, they'd be more comparable in "price for function" comparison. The meat in hamburger patties is recovery from more expensive cuts and is basically designed to be cheap while the meatless patties are specifically designed to replace them.

It's like building a small fence with pallet wood vs. what you'd buy at a lowes or something. Neither is gonna be priced at the premium of a boutique lumber mill or restaurant, but their inception doesn't startvevenly.

  • It's weird because I just assumed the whole point of an association of realtors, or really any trade, would be to collude. I just assumed it was happening but not a crime since it would be the primary operating function of the organization as a whole, yet it was allowed to exist.

  • True. Unwanted babies etc etc.... having just had my first child a little over a month ago, it makes me sad to think of it, but I also know how stressful this stressful these weeks have been for my wife and I, and can't imagine my mental state if I didn't want the baby to begin with.

  • Same. I've almost completely stopped using these delivery services because of the extreme costs and middling performance.

When people constantly complain about how underpaid they are doing this job, I realized that I don't want to pay what people actually want to get paid for this service, so I'll just stop. Like paying 15 fees and tip is already too much for only 1-2 peoples worth of food. I'd consider it less painful for 6 people's dinner.

  • It'll have to be good enough for the next 4 years. When the choice is no longer incumbent vs actual monsters...

Pounding fists on the table saying it's unacceptable is just little kid energy; like breaking your own toys cuz you're mad.

  • What's he getting from these statements that make you assert he's selfish? They aren't saying, "Give it all to me." They're saying that if you make life sustainable while succumbing to vice, people will take them up on it.

The poor will always resent the homeless. They have shit homes that they've sacrificed for, and they are disproportionately the victims of theft from homeless due to proximity. Then they see the people they've watched, being as a kite for 5 years, get newly built housing for free and non-stop handouts.

Obviously, they should all be on the same side, but thats just not how human emotions work.

  • Not happening. This came up in another thread, too. They aren't competing in the same industry, so they don't really have a basis to claim anything.

Sometimes people get confused and just see "software" in the description of things and just declare it "tech". Therefore, same industry. But yeah, not related.
