  • I noticed a huge influx of these this past year. I was a grocer actually stocking the product a couple of years ago, so I know this is somewhat recent. It was really good timing for my wife, though, while she was pregnant this year.

The prices on the non alcoholic craft cocktails in a can though.... yeesh.

  • I liked it. I wish it was a little longer, so we had a better character build for her. I say that about most Disney+ shows, though. I get they're expensive, but they're also the largest media empire on earth. They monetize the show far outside the initial run of it anyways so it would be nice to give some of these shows a better chance of hooking people during the first season with a few more episodes and a less rushed story.

  • People didn't like this post, but the truth is unpopular. It's not like I'm encouraging war crimes after all, but you just haven't been paying attention if you think they don't make additional war crimes easier.

War crimes have definitions, though, so lots of terrible things aren't war crimes... they're just war.

  • Disproportionate responses end some conflicts faster because they remove the illusion of a fair fight your enemy might still believe they could win.

Of course, it makes you look like a psycho, but thats kinda the point.

  • Pretty much. Mine was cheap, but my favorite feature is the targeted auto stop. So I set it to a pressure, and it stops when it reaches it automatically, which no gas station pump ever did for me. So I can get them all to the exact same pressure without stopping to check where I'm at a bunch mid fill-up.

  • That's so reductive, it's absurd. It's free labor to moderate these things.

Who is they? And where do these people magically spring from? If lemmy has a low content issue, surely there would be a low amount of people willing to moderate as well.

  • As the owner of several fruit trees, I feel that cities are right to not plant them on city streets.

The fruit makes a huge mess and draws in pests and create slip hazards.

They require more maintenance than most non fruiting trees so they don't grow too tall.

Things they drop have a weight that can harm people and property.

Food of a dubious source with unknown water supply could harm the public and leave the city liable, because you would have a hard time saying you didn't know people would eat it.
