‘There is no intel’: Trump’s attacks on Iran were based on vibes, sources say

Well Biden/Harris could have pulled the plug for doing that. Instead they let Netanyahu publicly humiliate them by defying any requests, knowing they would send more weapons as a reward.
We are talking 20% of global supply here.
The US can't just buffer that for its own people. Also this affects all manufacturing and shipping outside the US going to the US.
And if the US doesnt share the consequences and deliver oil to its "allies" in Europe that will damage the relationships substantially.
Thats exactly it. It shows how uttetly pathetic most EU governments are, who see themselves as nothing more than an extension of the US empire and the lapdogs of whoever is president in Washington.
This will probably be the calmest year of the years to come.
Russia, the US and EU are failing slowly, with Russia and the US kicking around in the process. The EU doesn't really know what to do except follow suit to the US, no matter the stupidity.
Aside from these three China seems to be emerging for now, but is running into huge demographic issues that the others already have.
Neoliberal Capitalism is destroying the very foundations of society and leading to a new rise of Fascism as it is ideologically way too deeply entrenched to overcome itself and the mantra of eternal growth and eternal capital accumulation at the top.
On top of all this the climate catastrophe is picking up intensity every year and the effects will cause more and more disruption.
Meanwhile any attempts at spearheading a better world, one of sustainable economies and basic human rights are disrupted by the forces of old, who employ ever more gruesome weapons and tools of mass surveillance while refusing any social innovation.
To answer your question: Yes it is overwhelming and it will probably get a lot worse.
The claim was that everything was copied horizontally, which is evidently not the case in the picture. Also as i have linked the widest "freeway" in the US has even more lanes.
Thank you for posting the article. As you can read in the article they prove the fact that the image is altered by pointing out the number of lanes being wrong, not by "suspicious patterns" in the cars.
The claim that the image was just doubled horizontally simply does not check out. There was more effort put into creating the fake.
Where?
We are certainly not their prey and without modern urban sprawl forcing animals into urbanized areas they would avoid humans as much as possible and this has been true for thousands of years.
Humans are the ones wielding fire after all.
Equating Iran and Al-Qaeda and more generally categorizing all "brown people" as more or less the same is like saying Guatemala is "they" with the US because they are on the same continent.
Specifically Iran says: "We want diplomacy, but we cant negotiate while being bombed."
Also note that Israel prides itself in having assassinated multiple negotiators that were engaged in "negotiations" with Israel or the US in 2024 and 2025 and the US has previously lured an Iranian negotiator into an assassination under the pretext of negotiations in 2020.
The politicians running the show and most of their voters are old enough to remember. Young people play less and less of a role in western politics.
The people in Iran are old enough to remember a time before the current regime and the liberty they enjoyed.
Before the Islamic revolution Iran was ruled by the Shah, who the US and UK couped into power against Irans last democratically elected president in 1953. The Shah terrorized his people with the support of the aforementioned and Israel, murdering, torturing and disappearing tens of thousand of people, which is why the whole revolution took off.
Claiming Iranians used to enjoy liberty under the Shah is peak apologism. That doesn't mean that Iranians are enjoying many freedoms under the current regime, but there is no indication that the US would bring any "liberty" like they did not bring "liberty" to any place they intervened. Instead the go to are Fascist dictators mass murdering their own people like Pinochet, the Contras, the Shah...
Meanwhile a regime change forced by the US and Israel in Iran will not lead "back into the world community". It will lead to another puppet dictator at best and more likely to the "balkanization" of Iran, so the destruction of the nation and creation of a system of eternally warring regional rulers like it was organized in Libya and Syria.
Who is "they"? the 9/11 attack was committed by mostly Saudi nationals under leadership of the (former) CIA assets Osama bin Laden (also Saudi).
You know which country the US didn't attack in its "war on terror"? Saudi Arabia.
Instead the US attacked / attacked in: Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Libya
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Major_military_operations_of_the_War_on_Terror.svg
9/11 was committed mostly by Saudi nationals who were led by the (former) CIA asset Osama bin Laden. Iran had nothing to do with it. Neither did Iraq.
Iran can't hit and has no interest in hitting mainland US. Iran is opposed to US presence in the region as the US is an existential threat to Iran and Israel is an existential threat to most countries in a 2000 mile radius.
Well guess what the US bombing Iran makes more likely.
Ehm, nope? You know that white and black/dark blue/dark greyish are the most prevalent car colors?
Look at the trucks and minivans that are a bit more distinct. Their patterns with other white cars around do not repeat.
Also the one in the picture only has 20 lanes. The US widest has 26 lanes
Problem is that as they will get bogged down, they will probably have to sacrifice Ukraine to Russia and South East Asia to China.
From a strategic point of view, this will turn out as a huge failure for the US.
The UK already applauded his attack. Given how Germany acted so far, i expect them to follow suit. While urging to go back to diplomacy and restraint the EU speaker also first said, Iran must not have nuclear weapons, while not saying that countries shouldn't just bomb other countries, whenever they feel like it.
"terrorism"
When people don't want to be slaughtered and have their resources stolen by imperial invaders it is "terrorism". When the same invaders are doing their invasions, mass murder civilians, threaten total annihilation and the like, it is "security" or "bringing democracy"...
Iran and its allies and proxies have to retaliate against US positions in the region. If Iran doesnt respond, they will be considered fair game for bombing whenever the US and Israel are bored. Both US and Israel just proved that diplomacy is off the table with them. Neither country speaks any language but violence.
This is the Democratiic parties election platform 2024 (see P82/P83):
They are literally calling Trump "weak" for not engaging militarily enough. There is no indication Biden would not have jumped at the first order from Netanyahu to do his bidding, like he did all the years before.
