I've mentioned to them more than a couple times that my people have been literally standing on this land longer than theirs. They get triggered when I explain Mexican natives also lived across what they now call the US.
That's sorta intensely selfish. Having a second kid outweighs the idea of leaving your other kid without a mom and a partner without their partner. Like the mom from this story who now left 2 kids without their mom.
And then you get people who not only have the premium badges but also a license plate that say the cars make or model AND a frame around the plate that also says it lul. I see it all the time in Cali. I want to de badge my car, mostly cause if they want me to advertise for them they should be paying me. It's just that the front and back badges are indented Into the car and I haven't found any replacements I like. I also haven't found any custom maker online, maybe I just need to commission a 3d printer to try something for me.
Oh hey I lived there for years and currently live literally 15 minutes south in a nearby city. Downtown long Beach is pricy as heck cause it's rich people area by the beach. There's Def under 2k 1 bedrooms out there. Heck I lived in a 2 bedroom 2 parking, mid, gated apartment complex in long Beach for 1550 a smidge over a year ago. I currently live 15 minutes south in a nearby city in a decent gated community, 2 bedrooms, 1 parking, 2200 monthly and management is fairly solid at fixing stuff quickly.
Just to put stuff into perspective.
Minimum wage should still be over 20 here for everyone, it's crazy that it isn't since everything is so expensive.
What I've heard a lot of people do is not make a whole show to convince the other person but to convince people who may be on the fence or uneducated on the subject. Any third party observer who might just be learning about stuff.
Would you rather trust a random screeching about people birth genitals or someone who is posting scientific evidence to back up their claim and being calm and knowledgeable about the subject.
Literally happened at my work place a couple months ago.
Boomer coworker who's job was basically to order supplies and do the last step of processing accounts so we can bill them retired after like 35 years and bought a house in Arizona to fuck off there. Her job was just split among our phone operator and annual control policy department. What she got paid a lot of money to do for 8 hours a day and complained constantly about the other two people do in a couple hours a week and is easy peasy according to them. Of course they didn't get a raise, if they had come to me with that I would have declined or quit if they insisted. Fuck that.
There's always a niche. Nobody thought anyone would care enough to watch them play video games badly but here we are. Really if you set a cam in your league and have half funny commentators who know their stuff people would watch.
Look at speed running too, it's even more niche than just playing games and it gets millions of dollars a year too.
It's not because of the porn but because of the taboo. You're not supposed to be seeing porn on twitch so her pushing the envelope appeals to a bunch of people.

Yea I don't debate them online and even in person I don't really debate them more so just respond once calling them out using their terms and then I just move on while calling them snowflakes.
Everyone has a breaking point, it's always better to embrace them when they reach it.
