If you don't watch porn or havent in recent years, you may need it explained to you, as I needed to look this one up myself a while ago.

I actually tried to purchase this IP from its current owner (at the time about 8 or so years ago), who IIRC used to be a CFO or some other financial executive at 3DO. He was a nice guy, but we didn't agree on the value of the IP.

I think its really strange that they are only re-releasing on exactly the same platform. I can only imagine this means all the source code is completely lost, and the IP owner has no interest in selling or something.

I think a remaster with online multiplayer could be a lot of fun. Like the arcade version of World of Tanks.

Doesn't really matter because it still suffers from lack of tactile buttons. Trying to play with a touchscreen that offers no actual feedback for its buttons is an awful experience, especially for the crimes against humanity one must commit to press the shoulder buttons.

Its so unfortunate that 343 messed up CE Anniversary so badly. But at least they did a lot better with Halo 2 Anniversary (though that is also not without its issues).

Now with a rebrand to Halo Studios, which was 100% caused by their poor stewardship of the series and the ruining of their own reputation beyond redemption, 343 will have to super-over-deliver with whatever they come out with next.

And I pray it is not a CE Remake. They messed it up already once before, just leave it alone and do something different with Halo. Make ODST 2 or some new story about a new Spartan entirely, I am tired of my favorite characters and stories being butchered these days.

I love Elden Ring and the SotE DLC, but Elden Ring should not be elligible for GOTY again. The only reason I can see this is that Geoff wants a redo for Miyazaki after the "reformed Jewish Rabi Joe Biden" fiasco. So if this is the case the SotE will probably get awarded GotY, despite my feeling that it should not qualify for that.

Nintendo is still figuring out how to send emails, so I am doubtful on that one.

World at War was the best one, what do you mean?

Though I stopped at WaW, then played Advanced Warfare (which was cool I guess), Infinite (which I actually really liked), and WW2 (which was honestly pretty bad especially by comparison to WaW).

People are offering to pay as a hyperbole to try to tell Activision how much they want to disable the skins. Nobody actually is willing to pay extra for that. Its like dangling a carrot in front of a corporations face.

"We want to do X so badly, we are willing to pay for it," which translates to " We want to do X so badly, we are willing to do the last possible option that we want in order to be able to do X."

Is it stealing though? Theft, as it is legally defined, requires depriving the original owner of the thing you are stealing. Stealing a car for example, means the owner cannot drive the car since you have it.

If you could take someone else's car, but they still have access to their car as if it was never taken, is that really stealing?

Good. I heard this version was pretty faithful to the original and did not opt to censor anything from the original.

That is how games that are remastered or remade should be done: as faithful as possible to the original with the absolute minimal changes necessary.

If developers want to have a remade story that makes a lot of changes, then include it as an alternate mode. As long as the original is faithfully recreated, I have no problem trying out a new way to play. But only including the new way to play rubs me the wrong way. Its like someone in development said "I know better than the original team, and my 'better' version is the only one people will get to play." I steer clear of those.

Resident Evil Deadly Silence did this, where it had its own "Rebirth Mode," along with "Classic Mode." Literally all remakes and remasters should have this.
