  • AI is not a great source to ask for any sort of factual information, just a heads up. Its good for creating new stuff, like improvising story narratives or something like being a TTRPG dungeon master, though. I just wouldn't ever rely on anything it says to ever be factually true.

Im not an Xbox/Microsoft employee, but I will answer to the best of my knowledge. Some or all may be wrong though.

    1. Both.
    2. It does not transform the game at all as long as there are no bugs. Usually the only benefit is increased internal resolution, and sometimes increased framerate Everything else is identical to the original release.
    3. AFAIK, no. When you install the game it doesn't actually copy the files, it downloads them because some of the files are patched. No internet means you cant download. I think it also needs occasional connection to check. I do think you can play offline but not for 20 years straight.
    4. To my knowledge, no, there is no significant difference. I think it probably is exactly identical, actually. It is however, different from how backwards compatibility worked on the Xbox 360. It is significantly improved.
    5. Cross-generational System Link. Its cool being able to have one player on Original Xbox and one on Series X in the same game.
  • Finished Snatcher for the SEGA CD, that was an interesting game. Predictable in nearly every way, but probably because I have played a lot of games newer than it, I would imagine that it probably was better in its time. Very long final cutscene for such an old game too.

Been playing Ready or Not coop with my brother. Going into each mission only as a 2 man is very challenging, but we have been able to get A or A+ grades on most missions. I used to main a P90, FiveSeven, and riot shield, but now I am trying a pepperball gun which is not as effective, a Glock, and a flashbang launcher. Reduced some of the lethality but I am dying and taking injuries a lot more.

Of course, still been on modded Stellaris with the boys. Its been like two months. We finally reached end game and the Blokkats have spawned. The lag is getting annoying. My fleet power is only 250k per fleet, for 3 fleets. Unfortunately, two of five boys are min-max meta players which is causing the AI to rubberband their power into the millions to compete, making me the target of multiple defensive wars. Really wish they would stop doing that.

    • Snatcher
    • Policenauts
    • King's Field (any of them, even Pilot Style)
    • Halo 1-3 + ODST and Reach
    • Yakuza 0
    • Silent Hill 2 (the original, Enhanced Edition for PC is still the best way to experience SH2)
    • Life is Strange (only the original game, completely ignore the fanbase, theyre all toxic)
    • Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (too bad BioWare doesnt have a single good or competent writer anymore)
    • NieR, both Gestalt and Automata
    • Rule of Rose
    • Dark Souls 1-3
    • Elden Ring
    • Kuon
    • Armored Core (all of them, but the controls are hard to deal with before Nexus)
    • Steel Battalion (only if you can find and afford the controller, otherwise dont bother)
  • Because NFS Unbound sucks. Never in my life have I tried to refund a game so quickly. Couldn't make it past the first hour of the game.

The characters just won't shut up, I'm trying to drive not hear people yap about how the illegal street racers that cause millions in public property damage and multiple fatalities each race are so oppressed by the government.

  • Not exactly hard when it was still being officially manufactured and sold all the way until 2013-2014, right around the release of the PS4.

Its also important to remember that the PS2 was one of the cheapest DVD players at the time it was released. The reason it sold so well was almost entirely because of this.

  • If you don't watch porn or havent in recent years, you may need it explained to you, as I needed to look this one up myself a while ago.

"Step-sibling stuck in washing machine" is a popular trend lately as a scenario for the plot of some porn films. That is what this meme is referencing.
