Oh damn, thanks for letting me know. I got the alert saying they were in settings when I opened up keychain and assumed they were permanently moved not like “hey you can also find them there”. Great news, I much prefer the keychain app.
Seems off to me. On Mac they abandoned the standalone keychain app in favor of the settings app just last year (IIRC). Why would they turn around and go in the opposite direction so soon after that?
You’ve never needed AppleID to setup a Mac. I’m not positive, but I don’t think you even meed one on iPhone, though no App Store access limits the utility there.
I was living above the 15th floor of a building in one of the poorer parts of NYC. I heard my bunny thump and run to the bathroom, and was really confused as he never acted that way.
A few minutes later I see smoke pouring around the door frame and tons of fire trucks outside (I found out later it was a 5 alarm fire). Was sure I was gonna die, so I texted my ex (we were still close) that I loved her and then sat around calmly waiting for death. Eventually FDNY grabbed me out of my unit, and ran me downstairs. Two people across the hallway and someone in the unit above them died.
I wanna say “the corbomite maneuver” from TOS. I think it’s one of the best episodes of all, but most people don’t so i think it’s okay from the its all downhill perspective. It has everything: Kirk mentoring, an extremely powerful alien of the week, solving problems without fighting, but still tense situations. Such a great and representative episode.
From TNG maybe First Contact. Good intro episode as you get intro to the federation through the eyes of an alien of the week. The alien-chasing woman may be not a good thing to show depending on the person you’re showing it to, though.
For DS9, in the hands of the prophets. Doesn’t require much backstory unlike a lot of DS9, great ep, classic ethical debate/social commentary, and the majesty that is Vedek Winn.
For Voyager maybe distant origin. Great ep, doesn’t need much backstory, also great commentary on society
Not all animal classification terms need be scientific or mapped to a clade. Bug is a useful colloquial term that can refer to any minifauna, especially those with exoskeletons.
I always feel like my code is the best in personal projects when I don’t need to conform to whatever style and architecture has been decided on by history and committee.
Even though I didn’t enjoy the movie, I’m still sad that Paul McGillion wasn’t cast as Scotty for the 2009 film. He’s both Scottish and Canadian, so perfect for carrying the torch.
