  • The only 2 enemies vulnerable to a single type of attack are DLC and you have your full arsenal by then.

I agree that the game is a bit weird during the second and third missions due to the limited tools you are given, but I think you might be exaggerating how the weaknesses work a bit.

  • Really happy, they did a fantastic job making the world feel real and lived in.

The game does this thing I really like, where the survivors have turned the rooftops into gardens and farms since most zombies can't reach them.

It really adds to the idea that they've adapted to the post-apocalyptic world after 20 years.

A lot of the quests actually touch on the logistics of the new world, with subjects like power, communication and resources being a main focus.

  • I personally love it, the parkour and combat have a lot of depth that the first one needed.

The story is pretty messy but I would still say it was better than the original's, even if it is a low bar.

  • I absolutely love Doom Eternal, it's my favorite shooter of all time by a landslide.

Dark Ages still hasn't sold me, parries are the last thing I ever wanted from a Doom game and they seem to be the game's main focus.

I can respect Id Software for trying new things with every game, but taking away movement and focusing on parry mechanics isn't really innovative to me.

The 80 euro price tag doesn't help, there is no way in hell I'm paying that much for a game.
