  • The first game felt like a really cool tech demo with the occasional cool boss here and there.

The sequel is that concept turned into a proper game. Each world now has it's own mini-campaign that ends in a final boss with dialogue, minor choices and everything.

The bosses are my favorite part though, the main ones are extremely creative and polished, especially the final one.

  • I'll be honest, I downloaded Avowed through gamepass and couldn't stand it for more than 4 hours.

It's about as dull as a game can be and doesn't excel at anything, even when compared to games that released 15 years ago.

Do I think it's garbage? No, but I also would not recommend it to anyone, it's not worth their time nor money.

  • I played it for about 4 hours and dropped it, there just isn't anything interesting to it.

NPCs are probably the worst part, they couldn't even make them move around despite Morrowind pulling that off over 20 years ago.

  • I didn't get that far to be honest, the first world felt so by the numbers that I just kinda never picked it back up and looked up the rest of the story online.

I can't say I missed much and my expectations for the next one are about as low as they can get at this point.
