  • I'm addressing that they're factory farmed birds so they probably won't get better, which makes your statement a bad idea. Don't just move the goalpost if you want to discuss stopping factory farming because I never indicated I was wanting to talk about that.

  • I wouldn't be so sad about it. That's just what happens with AAA games. I cite Cyberpunk (which honestly great in CDPR for how much post-launch work they've put in, but we gotta admit it was launched when it was as a means to pull in profit fast), every modern Fifa or CoD or Madden. Diablo 4 has been the king of this crime.

On the other hand you have amazing games being pushed out by indie devs, or smaller franchises within those big publishers. Hell, doesn't even need to be either of those, Nintendo still puts out mega-hyped high quality games like Super Mario Wonder or BoTW/TotK.

BG3 probably game of the decade btw.

  • Every time I see Texas in the news I say a little prayer for the man who my Greatx4 (5?) Grandfather, who definitely had some looser morals around things like murder and escaping prison twice, shot. If it weren't for their unfortunate ass, my family might still be in that awful place.

  • Illegal income is taxed, technically, but paying that tax would also basically be a confession. That's how they got mobsters back in the day. So there ends up not being any when you're right and there absolutely could be good tax revenue there

Hell, it's not federally banned, so it's just states not being willing.

  • That's only for economic crime, think theft. There can only be theft out of greed or necessity. The handful of cleptomaniacs that steal for personal satisfaction are such a small percentage that it's not worth discussing.

Anything like a crime of passion is probably murder or something along those lines. Less directly related to money.

No honest leftist I've ever talked to has denied that, but they're largely not relevant to the ideas around the restructure of society. Any system is gonna have an angry spouse making horrible choices.
