I made an account but I don't really see the appeal. It just feels like a bunch of random photos at the moment. Nothing I really feel like following, as it will just be more random photos.
I mean, you're getting down votes but it is true. I know of Canadians who have travelled abroad to get their doctorates because it's faster and they don't need as high grades to get it, and the training is less rigorous, and then come back to Canada with their degrees to get a job.
Governments can place qualifiers based on hostile behaviours but then still selectively enforce said restrictions on the platforms they want to target.
Such as with tiktok they specially worded the laws so that it only affected tiktok and not the others.
It's on my desktop Gmail and I've been having a shitty time trying to disable it and remove it.
Literally asked Gemini how to remove Gemini and it said it did not know, then I called it stupid, and then it apologised and said I can remove Gemini in the Gmail settings, but I couldn't find the option after yelling at it in all caps and it's still there just taunting me
Because emergencies are so rare. Many adults are quite unprepared for a lot of them as well.
It's different if you were to leave like a 1-2 year old in the care of someone but it's generally okay to leave a 5-10 year old in the care of a 14-15 year old. They mostly just need to feed them and make sure they go to bed.
Plus it gives the teens responsibility and some extra money to spend and it helps them get prepared for the future. Usually if it's a super young one the teens tend to have first and courses suitable for young children as well or actual baby sitting certifications from a course of some sort.
So tiktok is what Gen Z decides to actually put their collective bargaining power together to fight the government over? Not... Anything else of import?
I wonder if a lot of the price increases are due to things like people paying more for free range and cage free eggs and then the companies selling caged eggs and regular cruelty-guaranteed eggs think they can sell their eggs for more since the other eggs are so much more.
If your competition is selling for $8 a dozen no one is going to notice much if your $2 a dozen goes up to $4 a dozen since it still looks good beside the $8 a dozen carton
Man I love eggs. They are so versatile and easy to cook. Boiled eggs, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, poached eggs... Easy hot meal and a decent bit of protein in like 10 minutes. Breakfast lunch or dinner.
Sounds like proportional representation would be what you're looking for which Trudeau decided against and most conservative politicians would never even consider.
I mean, universities have hardly any incentive to improve efficiency. There were so many staff members in my university's administration it was ridiculous. Not professors and teachers, just people that "ran" the university. Just paper pushers for the most part.
But he would be elected. He would be elected by the people elected to be your chosen representative within the party. When you elect your local MP you give them the power to choose the leader of the party. If you don't think they will be capable to make that choice for you don't vote for them.
That's why you aren't supposed to be voting for the person as prime minister's, you are supposed to vote for the party you think will best represent you and your local representative within that party.
If someone is going to fly explosives somewhere they will simply buy a drone that isn't DJI. It's not hard to get around the geofencing if you really want to.
The only benefits to the geofencing was to prevent people from flying around in areas they didn't bother to research and find out was actually somewhere they shouldn't be flying.
It would be funny if tiktok just put out a transfer request to everyone's accounts and then make a new company called toktik and all content gets transferred with any account that opts in. Then the government has to go through the whole process to shut down toktik again.
That's almost $7000 per citizen
