  • I've never bought a new "cutting edge" product that's cost more then what it should, and I'm pretty into technology/computers

What products specifically are you considering?

But also, you mentioned Arch, so I got to ask, are pantyhose conformable?

    They're socks

  • I think it's still worth doing so your phone isn't rapidly trying to connect and disconnect from nearby cell towers as you ascend and descend. Maybe there's already protections in place for this case but it makes sense that it could add a lot of unnecessary strain on certain cell towers.

  • 50% margins aren't that high for a "cutting edge" low volume product.

Civic cars are high volume with an established market and consumer base.

Not everything is an apples to apples comparison.

I'll never buy one because I use Arch BTW, but there needs to be a profit incentive for new tech to be developed, otherwise we get rehashes of the same old same old.

  • ACG on YouTube I feel does a great job at this if he's following his publicized guidelines. He doesn't do any sponsored content nor accept paid for trips from the gaming industry and when he receives a free copy of the game for review purposes he purchases a copy to give away to the audience. Accepting the free early copies and paying to give one away on release seems like a good compromise to ensure he can get the review out near the embargo date.

  • His age is irrelevant. Can he do the fucking job?

He can barely speak or remember his own major life events and colleagues. His team constantly has to step in and correct "what he meant to say" regarding very important international relations.

    His age is relevant.

  • Sure, but there's a difference between feeling someone is guilty and stating they were convicted. We shouldn't knowingly be making factually incorrect statements.

It feeds the right when people are so TDS that they are okay with spreading mistruths or fake news.

  • Maybe he would have been, I'm not a lawyer or judge.

I just believe in America and innocent until proven guilty, and he wasn't proven guilty of that offense.

His actions and responses around the allegations are gross and unbecoming for sure.

    Edit:

Right, the primary difference being that a criminal trial would be that the statue of limitations would restrict what a prosecutor can achieve, while there is no such limitation for civil suits.

There's also the vast difference in burden of proof required for a criminal conviction vs a civil trial. It's not only the statute of limitations that was at play here.
