So in the good ol' days when parts of the american democracy could still be claimed to exist for the good of the citizenry, there was a supreme court ruling that said the right to travel (not drive a car but as a passenger, by foot, train and by extension plane) without ID was fundamental to interstate commerce and the concept of a nation. Unfortunately the Bush admin with the help of 9/11 passed an unconstitutional law, and since American Jurisprudence only cares about business interests, we have this trash law with trash people defending it.

You really don't need to be a billionaire to afford crazy internet speeds (if you want them). You can get a 100G port from pretty much any ISP for ~$8k/mo, or even cheaper if you are willing to have a bandwidth cap. Then assuming you really want it, you'd have to pay to get the fiber laid to your home, which can be a few hundred thousand dollars depending on how far away you are. Of course this is ridiculous for home internet, but it is within reach for people that are way poorer then billionaires.

Dismantling the FBI seems like a good idea to me anyway. It's not like their mission is a good one. Maybe in the next government the FBI can be brought back as a federal agency that is narrowly focuses on investigating/punishing local/state level law enforcement.

But of course the Dems will just approve whatever budget the republicans come up with and facism will continue unabated.

Agreed. My wife and I are both on iOS so there is no need for this feature. Our daughter when she is old enough for a cellphone, would be the one I'd use this for since she can't turn it off.

If you want to win you need to back candidates that are more then just centrist dems who want to be bipartisan.
If you truly believe the GoP are fascists, then you cannot work with them at all and that isn't something I see from many of the current Dems. I guess the crop of candidates for 2026 will be revealing, but looking at Fl-1, the only dem candidate is the same one that has lost the previous 5 times, often by >10% of the vote.

Is there a link or story or something about the DNC being changed out? Because afaik the DNC is the same as it ever was, funded by billionaires and PACs to push austerity, market economics and funding for Israel.

This is a useful feature. If you are in an abusive household, then yes you should have as much financial separation as possible. For those that are in a happy and functional family with kids that you want to allow freedom for, this provides a measure of safety if you need it for potential emergency's or if they aren't answering the phone or whatever.
