  • In the 19th century they have coked up wine. No joke. Even the Pope endorsed it.

And I am not going to mention Coca-Cola. Despite the stories, the time it DID have minute amounts of cocaine in it was very brief since they did get complaints to knock it off.

They still used spent coca leaves that had so little cocaine left that it was imperceptible, and it was only until 1929 before they finally stopped that.

So if you wanted to get coked up with coca cola you would need to go back to 1885 and within days of the first coca cola being served.

But if you went that far back just do ALL the drugs. There was no such thing as an illegal drug back then.

  • That kid who asked about radios should be given a scholarship to a STEM degree. Also the kids who asked about using smoke signals and pigeons have mad creativity. The stock kid? Well he probably has more financial accumen than most Wallstreet punks.

The kid with the replacement dilemma? Forget philosophy. That is lawyer material right there.

  • I wish I could find the youtube interview with someone who worked with him during his casino mismanagement days. The guy said that he never saw anyone know so little about what he was supposed to be running. He knew absolutely nothing about any of the games at all. Not poker, craps, roulette, or blackjack.

  • This is going to fuck up the US export market something FIERCE. The US is actually one of the largest food exporters in the world, but without proper inspection and safety checks, no country with half a brain cell is going to want to import potentially contaminated food. Whenever something slips through the cracks and some people die or get hurt from food poisoning it is always a major scandal, even if the number of people affected are in the single or double digits.

This is the type of shit that will bring the US back to the 19th century when food adulteration was rampant. Except now despite overproducing food on an unimaginable scale, they will STILL try to adulterate food with bullshit.
