Changes to automatic Authorizations to Transport restricted and prohibited firearms were brought into force on July 7, 2021. This change now requires licenced owners of registered firearms to obtain an Authorizations to Transport from the provincial or territorial Chief Firearms Officer (CFO) in order to transport a restricted or prohibited firearm** to any place other than to:**

a. an approved shooting club or shooting range within the owner’s province of residence, or

b. to the firearm’s place of storage after purchase.

No they were not. And you didn't need to call the cops to go to the shooting range, it is included in the RPAL.

This is what is scaring the shit out of me. As a Canadian, I can visit the US and stay (but not work) for 6 months out of the year legally... but given the situation they might just arrest me st the border or just after crossing for no fucking reason. This is why I am not going in any time soon.

They all fully understand this. Also they are well prepared for hyperinflation. Many people think that when the market has a massive crash they will finally own a house. Not true. The overwhelming majority of properties are already earmarked for pick up by the rich in that case. This is why boom/busts are important. They allow the rich to consolidate their wealth.
