  • Gotta say, wish we had this problem over here in the UK.

  • If it's presented as such, then I've no issue at all. Art can be cool, AI or otherwise, and I like looking at cool things.

  • Nine thousand nine hundred and ninety nine more ways that I will absolutely fail at using chopsticks.

  • The problem I had with no man's sky is that a large amount of the out of proportion expectations were a direct result of the developers over promising, rather than consumers just being over hyped.

  • If it helps, you can just use something else like Lemmy and still access all kbin content, that's what I'm currently doing.

  • This is unfortunately a well documented fact at this point.

  • Lemm.ee is dead

  • Is it just me that has had zero problems? I can't say I even understand half of what you're talking about here.

I run a community here and I've had essentially 0 issues that weren't addressed appropriately quickly by the admin team.

    Have fun elsewhere.

  • Warframe, new content drops have been absolutely on point. Still blows my mind that it's free.

  • While this particular ad is fake, it's entirely on brand for the party featured on it to state that they want to do that.

They recently stated they believed being homeless is a lifestyle choice.

  • For what it's worth, in 2019 a majority of people voted for parties other than the Tories. They received 43% of the vote, and their leader at the time was Boris Johnson.

The last two Prime Ministers weren't elected by voters, though I suppose you could argue that the majority of voters didn't elect Boris either.

The comments I'm seeing saying something like "well you voted for this" are incredibly misguided. We have a fucking terribly archaic voting system that doesn't serve us at all, there are several large pushes throughout the UK trying to change that.

  • I live in Wales, lil' country next to England.

For some extra context — there is a little family run café down the road from me, that will give you a full English Breakfast for very close to that price.

  • I'm assuming we're referencing the absurd price of it? I wouldn't be caught dead paying that much for a slice of pizza and a drink.

  • For what its worth, my country has had a far right party in power for the last 13 years, and I still want this.

  • This, frankly, is an incredible move. Hopefully us Europeans take notice and consider implementing something similar.

  • This is interesting as I have had much the opposite effect. I very rarely see anything Linux related. Though honestly I don't use Linux so that works just fine for me.

  • That hacker news bit got me, I won't lie.

  • Moderation log is public here - the reasoning you're looking for could be in there.

  • Not in the least because Elon Musk is a complete idiot that has only managed to whittle literal billions of dollars just by being himself.

Every good company he has touched was either built from the ground up by someone else, like Tesla & PayPal and remains profitable in spite of his existence, or was built from the ground up by someone else and was subsequently ran into the ground - See Twitter.

  • Be the change! On a real note though, I feel your pain.
