  • It’s hard for me to believe that Nintendo wouldn’t have taken into account the possibility of tariffs when deciding on pricing. Trump has only been talking about them for over a year.

  • What makes you think everyone else’s MSRP isn’t based on influenced by the US MSRP

  • The cold is also bad for batteries, so if you’ve been out in the winter for a while, it’ll help warm your phone up.

  • Trick question! IATA: IDGAF about your rules about who can work with who.

That’s right! I said “who” not “whom”! I don’t care about your grammar rules either: like putting punctuation inside quotations. Or starting a sentence with a conjunction.

    Did I get the job?

  • Well, butter my buns and call me a biscuit…

Side note: does anyone else find it weird that emphatic “too” has two o’s but emphatic “so” does not?

  • It’s hard to tell whether this is whether this is real or not… I’m going to lean “not” due to the low amount of misused capitals, and staying on topic.

  • (ingoring the diameter)

    Apparently!

You can pry my Twist-Erase from my cold dead arthritic hands.

  • Since I switched to using 0.9 mm, I almost never break a lead unless I drop it onto a hard floor; it even holds up to some aggressive tapping. Consequently, I hardly ever have to refill. I also never worry about the point snapping or stabbing when tossed loose into a bag, or keeping a sharpener on hand.

    Just my #2 cents.

  • Honestly, it would be hilarious if they did a goofy, “coming out tomorrow,” April Fools day announcement, and Nintendo snapped back the next day with “no, really, available now!”

  • PD includes a 5v option, so you’d think that chargers would default to a dumb 5v/4.5w with no other input, but apparently not… It’s probably something to do with the overcharge protection, or to not (further) harm a device with a damaged charge controller.

Or it could be that my PD chargers are pre pandemic and PD 3.1 fixed this.

  • We open the windows when the temperature dips, especially at night. If the wind is low or dead, we will use a fan to push the hot air out of one window so cool air gets pulled in though the rest of them.

We have a portable AC in the main room and a window AC in the bedroom for when it gets too hot during the day, or doesn’t dip at night.

If you live in a dry climate, a swamp cooler could work.

  • The flying wing looks like they left off the cover for the AA battery.
