  • It's moving away from us so fast it blended in with the red background.

  • My dogs are the best because they're dogs. 'Nuff said.

My cat is great because she keeps to herself, and you'll only even see her if she wants some love. Very low maintenance.

My chickens are great because... well eggs. That and they go apeshit whenever I bring them worms.

As a kid I had pretty much every rodent you can think of. Not a ton of mice, but the few I had I found to be very fascinating. They're incredibly intelligent, and you'll have fun just trying to figure out ways to prevent their escape (which they will. If you have cats, be aware of that). If you want to be able to handle them though, you need to do it right from the beginning so they get used to it. Otherwise they're likely to bite. Other than Guinea Pigs and Rabbits, mice are probably the most docile rodents I had. Rats and Hamsters were incredibly aggressive I found.

  • There is nothing worse about living in Ontario than its severe lack of donair. God what I'd give for a teleporter to Tony's.

  • Christmas in July is a thing in a lot of places. This could just be marketing that hasn't been changed over yet.

  • Yes but they're still correct. The specific hardware varies, but the underlying architecture is the same.

  • I'm not involved in crypto to begin with. That's good to know though, it makes much more sense than someone being that careless.

  • For those curious, this is in fact the account I found.

  • Because those health warnings are meaningless to begin with. We know it's bad for us, we don't need a nanny state to hold our hands at the same time.

  • It showed messages going back a few hours. There's a warning on the site informing you of this.

  • I think the only way that could possibly work is if all manufacturers followed the same specs. That way games can be developed for all platforms equally.

3DO tried this, and failed spectacularly. Any other way would stifle competition though, which is bad for everyone.

I'm confident there's a way to make it work. 3D Printers operate with this model for the most part (thanks Jeff Prusa!)

  • 3 years actually. Which is the spec for the batteries.

  • It runs server-side, not on your browser. That said yes, I do think spoofing it server-side will eventually be how we get past this.

  • Within 6 months of implementation someone will find a way around it, or a FOSS alternative to spoof the WEI signing on servers.

  • No, it's not important enough for the average person. It makes more sense as an elective maybe, or to wait until College/Uni when it becomes relevant.

Teaching them about privacy and security in our modern world would be far more useful.

  • I've had my APC 1000-UPS for 5 year and have only had to replace the battery once, though I think I may need to again by the end of the year.

  • No, you cannot. SocialHome runs on Docker, which doesn't have an android platform. Their Github says there is a way to install without, but it's outdated and has many technical problems.

You're better off using an old laptop or renting a cheap VPS.

  • Do you want my real name, or a fake one?

  • Netflix drove many people to leave piracy, and now they're driving them right back to it again.

    Way to go guys.
