  • My Highschool Girlfriend was a huge Matchbox 20 fan, so I took her to one of their concerts. I gotta say, I was impressed. They do a great show.

  • As someone near your age who had worked in Food Service for a similar amount of time; I highly recommend you talk to your GP about getting some help. I came out feeling the exact same way, but ignored it. That was the wrong thing to do, and getting medical help has made a huge difference.

It's kinda freaky reading your post honestly. I even worked on Factory lines after kitchens and had a similar experience.

  • This. I try to do give a stranger at least one genuine compliment whenever I go out. It helps keep me positive and aware.

  • Fat Damon was amazing yeah. Hansee is one of the most terrifying villains Ive seen too. Perfect example of a villain being a "force of nature".

  • Season 2 is one of the best seasons of television I've ever seen. Four was pretty good, but is set in Kansas City instead. It would've been a lot better received if it wasn't called "Fargo".

  • God I wish I could read that for the first time again.

  • Sounds like their editor is too busy/lazy to check that kind of stuff.

  • I would actually suggest buying one of Netgate's prebuilt routers. They're pricey, but it brings the peace of mind knowing that device is handling it exclusively, and with appropriate hardware. It doesn't come with a Switch or AP though.

  • Jon Hamm and Dave Foley? Hell yes, I am so in. Hopefully returning the story to Minnesota/North Dakota will help it feel more like the first three seasons (not that 4 was bad, but it was different).

  • This is a pretty poorly written article.

Brazil reinstated its visitor visa requirements for Canada — so did Australia, Japan and the US in March.

This implies that Canadians need a VISA to enter Aus, Japan and the US as well. I'm not sure if that's the case in Japan, but it certainly isn't in the US or Australia. I assume they meant to say that Australians, Japanese and Americans also need a VISA to enter Brazil.

  • Yumi & The Nightmare Painter by Brandon Sanderson, and I'm also re-reading The Stand by Stephen King.

Do CompTIA study guides count too?

  • You say this like it's a bad thing.

  • Andrew Wakefield. He's the guy who published a phony study that inspired the Anti-Vax movement. More people need to learn how this always has been a scam.

  • Good. The less Google does the better the internet will be.

  • Wasn't that the entire point of the captcha? It was never intended as a permanent solution. They help train AIs to identify objects and patterns.

  • Sheriffs do still have the authority to appoint deputies.

  • When I was a kid we used to hurl them as high as we could straight up in the air. The fun was trying to avoid being hit by it on the way down!

  • I forget exactly when it happened, but shortly after Facebook launched to the public. I had an account for a few years but was always uncomfortable with it. Then when Cambridge Analytica and Facebook were exposed I went scorched Earth.

Since then I've learned programming, networking, and some basic cryptography in an effort to better understand and protect myself. I've been a Linux user for about 25 years, so it wasn't too hard for me to adapt.
