  • The only Gane where I thought AI was interesting was the one where you are a vampire, and you had to convince people to let you come into their houses so you could eat them.

Additionally, I could see how it would work for a "Hey you, Pikachu!" Or "seaman" game. But otherwise, I'm fairly reluctant on any kind of AI stuff. It just seems...gross. idk how to describe it but it just makes me uncomfortable

  • The best part of artwork is when you can see an artists personality through their art. Because Ai art is just stolen from other people who have poured their energy into their craft, it completely ruins the point.

It feels cheap. But because of this garbage, it's also made me appreciate real art so much more.

  • Idk, my 20's were not great, and my 30's aren't looking too much better but trying to stay positive. The main difference is I'm learning to cope and adjusting my expectations drastically.

I think restructuring cities and communities to be walkable tight-knit environments would certainly help. Give people reasons to interact outside the house. Give people the time to interact outside the house. Help people achieve a purpose and meaning in life instead of feeling like a cog in a wealth machine.

If we're all just struggling to get by, it's no wonder the youth feel despair.

    • this could just be my personal bias showing so idk.

To end this on a happier note, I've been starting to think of ways that I can reduce my footprint and still live as comfortable life as possible. I'm aiming for as low expenses that I can manage, along with working the least amount possible. I just don't really see a point to working my ass off now. I at least have some youth. Might as well enjoy it while I can.

I have no idea how to achieve this yet. But my mindset is there, so I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually.

  • You would have to be super human to work 60 hours a week and actually be productive.

Like maybe if your work was actually legitimately your hobby. Something that you absolutely loved and were addicted to doing. But even then, I can't even do my hobbies 60 hours a week. That's legitimately insane.

The only thing I can think of that I could do for 60 hours a week is sleep. But I haven't been able to do that for years now because of work-life imbalance

  • I love the idea of getting people behind boycotts. But I wonder if it actually does anything for extremely large companies? For example, Amazon seems too large to fail, considering they serve the wealthiest areas of the globe.

I genuinely don't know what the solution is when it comes to businesses where you would purchase actual necessities like groceries. It seems very difficult to fully detach oneself from the system.

All that being said, I think it's great people are trying. At the very least, it helps make people aware of what smaller, local options they have, and that shift in support likely makes a massive difference for those smaller businesses.

  • I knew Trump just wanted to try to strong arm him into signing away their mineral rights. They kicked them out of the Whitehouse afterward, and Trump said Zelenskyy could come back when he's ready to talk about peace.

Zelenskyy literally kept asking about security measures/promises.

Why would he sign a deal to fork over mineral rights when America would just walk in, steal their minerals, and then immediately leave them SOL just like they did to the interpreters and people who helped in the war in the Middle East?

The one really great thing about this was that it was straight-up televised proof that Trump and company are authoritarian fascists. It's kind of incredible that they are so blunt about it. I think that blunt straightforwardness will be their downfall.

You would have to be a very dense person or just as terrible to agree with them at this point. They have shown the world their true colors at this point, and I feel like it's a matter of time before their time runs out.

  • So far, I don't see how Ukraine benefits in this.

To me, it feels like Trump threatened Ukraine, and Ukraine had no other options but to take a deal. But I'm 100% speculating at this point.

    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cn527pz54neo

This article says that Trump is only very loosely making any comments regarding security. The only one being - if there are American workers on your soil, you'll have protection

In my perspective, it looks very similar to past "deals" the United States has made. Look at how they treated translators and other people who helped in the Middle East. To me it seems like they'll stop any war from occurring until they get what they want, and then they'll pull out of Ukraine when they feel like it, leaving them high and dry again in the future.

I hope I'm wrong though. I guess we'll see soon enough

Edit: damn I was right. Trump and his goons just kept talking shit, and shouted at Zelenskyy, and tried to strong arm Zelenskyy to accept whatever deal benefits Trump.

  • I tried no man's sky again. I think I'm just past the intro as I got to the space station trading place. It's interesting.

I have also been trying the new fortnite update and dirt rally 2

I'm thinking I'll probably get the new monster hunter this week? I've been saving a gift card for a while, so that seems like it would be a fun pick. I feel like I have so many games I wana play, but not nearly enough time in my day lol
