Yup. They have the exchange operators on record saying they actively trade against their customers. It's a club and if you're not in it you don't get to win.

The point was it was something you could say to someone in real life to let them know those political positions aren't okay, without getting their defensiveness up. Just, "I dunno man that seems weird to me, want another beer?"

There was a 2 decade pause after the Soviet Union fell apart. And I would qualify that China is lower grade than Russia. We're in an arms race with China and we are both doing intense intelligence work against the other. But China isn't trying to actively sabotage infrastructure or civilian business. The Russians are doing all that because it's all they can do. The Chinese are playing a longer game that they hope will see us pushed out of Asia without warfare beyond the intelligence world.

The US government stepped up it's Cyber security under Obama. And until now they've had an open offer for anyone with basic cyber security certs to get a government job auditing companies and begging them to put modern security practices into place.

Trump shut them down.

We've been in a cyber and shadow war with Russia for a little over a decade now. The closest we've come to a hot war so far is when Russia ordered it's mercenaries to take an oil field guarded by US troops in Syria. (We were backing the rebels, they were backing Assad) We asked them if they were Russian and the Russians denied it so we unleashed the full power of the US Air Force on the column. Something like 5 guys out of 300 survived.

And ever since then Russia has decided a campaign of political influence, hacking, and physical sabotage was the way to go.

So yeah a country isn't going to just sit there and take that, there should be a response. If for nothing else then to counter their efforts.

I'm against execution as a category because we keep fucking it up at every level. Can we settle for stripped of all assets and exiled to a developing country?

It didn't need to be said, but previous administrations also treated it as a secret so it wasn't just out there for reporters.

Here's the ADA government page. For Canada the only government page I can find is British Columbia which states you can train your own dog and after some paperwork do a test for the trained behaviors and public obedience.

At no point is a credentialed trainer a requirement unless you're thinking about a different country.

That's not how that works. It's the trained behavior that matters. There is zero credential requirement specifically because disability is highly correlated with poverty.

First, I love your self description. But second, I'm not trying to say I'm not on board. I should have been more clear, I was simply trying to answer why more people are not on board.

Yup, I'm not talking about the actual tech. Rather the human perception of it.

I get that, the problem is human psychology.

Tariffs need someone to collect them. And sales tax is very much the IRS. It's not automated just because they itemized your receipt.

As a point of clarity. Trump demanded a ridiculous share of minerals from Ukraine. Zelensky wanted to negotiate that. Trump essentially told him there was no negotiation. They could give up half of their future mineral wealth or they could kick rocks.
