  • I froze my credit on the big 3. Only unfreeze when I know I'll be buying something like a car that needs financing. I did it....it's easy ..... Just keep track of your passwords and questions when freezing the accounts.

  • That's an interesting idea. My thought was that people could use this individually to send emails daily on their behalf... Not for me to flood a rep with fake mails. ACLU frequently has campaigns where a letter is a template with an area to add additional text. I was thinking of something like that. Just so.ething to help people write to their reps, because those web page forms are a PIA

  • Right.... How would you fight a military that has tanks, drones, fighter jets, Apache helicopters..... The people would have what? Handguns, non auto rifles? Maybe some have converted firearms to full auto.... It's still not enough to counter the modern army. Plus you need real intricate coordination, techs to fight the cyber war...... I can't even wrap my head around how normal people could organize enough to mount a real threat.

  • Unfortunately no. I think all reps now use a webform to get messages.

Hmm. I wonder, I could bust out the webscaping until and create a script to automate that. I just had an idea of how I can contribute to the effort by creating something to automate an email campaign to reps. Something that can be automated to send email on the daily without having to manually enter info to their webpage ....

  • Unfortunately, last time the people revolted, the gov only had muskets and heavy canons. This time around, the gov can assassinate you from high altitude with drones, missiles....and the gov forces have firepower that far exceeds what the population could fight against.

  • I told people years ago. You don't own those books.

I own my books.... They are made out of this thing called paper and line the wall of my office. All the volumes I value I have of copy of for myself and future generations of my family
