So property tax I am ok with, in theory. The people with property in a city should pay for services like fire, schools, police, road maintenance..... What gets me is when the city wants more and more for stupid shit like iPads for all students.... Every 3 years due to forced upgrades or just old style deprecation over 3 years.

The amount my taxes go up each year is more than any raise I get. Then add on insurance which has gone insane. I paid off my house to avoid a 20k female flood insurance bill because a 1 foot piece of concrete touched a high risk flood zone. A technicality because if I took down a screen patio, then I wouldn't have to pay.

Omg, this. I left my phone at home by accident and quickly found out that I could not pay a meter on the area I went to .... You had to download an app to pay or use you phone to register a phone number and manually enter a plate and credit card.

No phone.....meant no parking.

Good luck too if your phone happens to run out of battery.

Same result for me. I'm sure I can buy thimbstick caps or something to cover them.

GOP really hated deficit spending when Democrats where in control.... Absolute hypocrisy from them when they want to deficit spending for something that doesn't even benefit most Americans.

Bah, you should see how many gov systems aren't even FedRamp certified. It's crazy how far behind the USA is on basic hardening of systems.

I disagree, offensive actions reach out into Russian systems and can have multiple end results from accessing and pulling info, implanting back doors into key systems, probing for systems and capabilities.....

Defensive measures, to me that means firewalls, logging, and hardening. our systems

First off....you are a great parent. Respect. The most important thing I wish I heard at 14 is that changes are normal, sexual desire is normal, a teenagers body is spurting growth and this may be awkward, but also normal.

When I was 14, my knees hurt because of my growth spurts.

When I was 14, there were a lot of awkward arousals that I had to cover with my back back.

When I was 14, I was still smaller compared to others, by 18 I was towering above everybody.

When I was 14 I was a coward with girls. When I really shouldn't have been.

When I was 14, I was bullied, and wish with all my heart, I would have Stood up for myself...if I had a cthwr figure to tell me that instead of teachers telling me to be peaceful Instead.
