  • It seems you can run the full R1 on a 96GB ram gaming rig even without GPU. I have little practical experience because of my old PC but it seems both improvements to efficiency to run locally (at least for a group of people) and research about bias or poisoning is being done.

  • At least it's open source and you can run it locally, and it's more energy efficient. Give credit where credit is due. A truly independent AI group could simply fork and review it. And contrary to fascist talking points not all Chinese Researchers bow to the CCP.

  • Well who doesn't once they get older haha. But I seriously wish I wouldn't have had a laptop or smartphone with keyboard and typed everything I learned as a question / answer flashcard. So I can review them. Some kind of flow inducing learning environment. Of course everyone learns differently, but I imagine there are huge gains possible with software and learning courses with current technology.

  • You wish you would have been home schooled?

To be honest I'm disappointed we haven't seen more progress into "VR schools" yet. Where you are fully submerged into a learning experience. While your blood is constantly analyzed and drugs to increase concentration and energy levels are dispensed. Ok maybe not the last part.

  • It is sad. Everyone is gloating, cheering on a possible conflict in the future. We've seen this kind of escalation and warmongering in 2013 in Ukraine. "Of course that country on the doorstep of our big geopolitical rival should be independent and join our military pact! Hahaha lololol!"

  • Especially since the USA can't do anything to coordinate the response of their industry, having fired their people and only relying on the market to sort it out. While China could systematically and rapidly invest in any industries and goods from the USA that now face retaliation tariffs in China or EU.

  • Well yeah moving channels would be kinda impossible. I imagine while designing the house you'd plan for the electrical wires and 3D print clean channels you can slide wires or flexible piping through. You could also have extra channels near the floor and in the middle and vertical channels.

This would really only be good for lightweight structures that don't need much load bearing, like tiny houses or RVs or huts or bungalows. Maybe structures on house boats / catamarans.

Instead of renovating, just melt it all down to recycle it and 3D print a new house haha.

  • My dear downvoted friend! I think this perfectly answers @Vegeta@lemmy.ca question. If you have any viewpoint outside what is "political correct" you get downvoted, even just saying what the NATO Secretary General Jens "Warmonger" Stoltenberg gloated himself:

So he went to war to prevent NATO, more NATO, close to his borders.

So what are socialists to do? They can't help it! And the only thing liberals hate more than fascists are socialists, especially the dirtbag left when they get a little snippy.

  • No? Sorry rather clueless about the practical aspects of that. But for electrical why is it not viable to just have channels you can push cables through? Do you mean because of corners?

Generally I was only thinking of simpler structures though like tiny houses or 1-2 room bungalows so it shouldn't be too complex wiring or plumbing.

  • As a tool to help find patters and collate police reports and notes this could be very useful. We've recently seen how the police dropped the investigation of Russel Brand, while a TV documentary found the truth. I'm betting there are tons of cases like this. Software tools (including LLMs) can scan large amounts of text. And there might be lots of cases that will be obvious once you look at all the pieces.
